The 'Bleistift'? Interesting plane to say the least! The Mosquito is just a beauty. Remembering the days of old when playing Warbirds on the Allied side 🙂

Thank you. It is a Ju 86. I have a weakness for interwar designs. I wanted to start with the mosquito's landing gear or the spitfires canopy - gave up and started the Ju 86 instead.

It kind of clicked so it is one of the rare cases I managed to go from start to 75% (=finished) in a short time without getting stuck.

Made a new Flak module as well as tweaking the damage system.

The module can be synchronized with any kind of unit and will remain active as long as the unit is ok.

You can set target side, range and delay between shots (in VR world it worked fine with 0.01 sec delay which is 6000 rpm).

Already included in naval legends and released today, the module for flying legends will follow sometime.

Mk II B spotter plane - work in progress.

I plan to make 2 versions: with a forward facing observer and a second with a rear facing gunner.

DSabre, great work. The group I am in is planning a large WW2 op and would love to use you Hurricane aircraft, the only problem is there is no key. Do you plan to add a key, it would be much appreciated.

Eventually once things are balanced. For time being do this in server settings to disable key check:

verifySignatures = 0;

So far there are plans for 3 versions of the Hurricane, 3 versions of the Spitfire and 1-2 versions of the Mosquito (ignore the 4 blade prop).

@DSabrei can appreciate that this mod is designed primarily for single player, but in the future will you be adding a key for those that wish to use it on servers? As at present my community is unable to use this addon on our server as we use signature checking.

Refining the Flak Module:

The future version will allow for more control. You will be able to define the size and basic shape of the target region.

1cw8E6K.jpg

Flakdiameter defines xy spread, Flakaltitude the z offset

(500m, 200m, 6000rpm)

6M11kM1.jpg

That way you could sort of set up a barrage.

It would still follow the target though and diamater defines both x and y : )

Anyway lots more possibilites

G'day @DSabre,

You're doing a great job on those aircraft. Was wondering if you had considered adding the Beaufighter and the Typhoon to your array of aircraft?

Keep up the good work. Looking forward to seeing your next releases.

Hi @DSabre
Just wanted to congratulate you on this mod, it's beautifuly done. Recently did a campaign in North Africa with my community (Around 80 people, 6 Pilots) the Hurricanes work perfectly, never though that dogfights in Arma could be so much fun. Congratulations!
Btw Have you considered doing an F-86 Sabre in the military aviation mod?

what paint schemes are you planning for the RAF planes? Any D day stripes??

Existing planes can easily be repainted (see first post - texture templates).

Regarding further updates - as with all mods may or may not happen. No real plans currently.

I just had a look at the paint schemes and couldnt find any D day stripes apart from on the mustangs. Im dying to fly that Mosquito. I really hope you carry on with this mod as this is one of the best arma 3 mods out there.

Its templates, meaning you may use them to paint your own textures - not finished paint schemes

Actually I am working on a Tempest which would have invasion stripes naturally.

Depending how well the interior works out it may find its way into the mod.
