Animated weapons?!?

I'd like to know if anyone has thought about this?

As I'd like to upgrade a few of my GBU's and AGM's to have deployable wings and for the cluster bombs deployable mines or bomblets.

hmm, if you could animate a hand held weapon, say an m60, then it could be pretty neat if

the 'legs' were animated.

And then, when used, an internal (inside the pbo.) script got activated

instantly increasing the accuracy of the gun :D

But I figure it would take the swapping of guns, since increased stability

and accuracy is cpp issues ???

d00d removeweapon x; d00d addweap.... not exactly a beautiful effect

stunning thought, though :)

DragonFire - I dont know about animating weapons, but you could just use a different model for the deployed weapon, in the case of your gbu's and agm's.

Its not quite as fancy but it still does look pretty good ingame.

As for the cluster bombs, not too sure. You could use a script to camcreate some mines or bomblets on impact.

Let me know if you come up with somthing for this. biggrin.gif
