bobalazs 10 Posted January 17, 2020 I'll join the bandwagon by saying that performance is lacking. I set affinity to 4 cores on 6 core cpu i get the same performance as all six cores. GPU usage is meanwhile limited 60ish percent. Porting to vulkan would help in my opinion.

And what prevents you from doing that? you can already do that. Where should i start? hmmm Linux native version: Version is behind windows version, so unable to join current version servers. No mods from Workshop? Proton version: The launcher crashes at startup, so i can't load mods from the workshop? Only able to start the game with the nolauncher option... BattleEye is not working on linux? Note: I have not been able to play much on internet servers yet, both because i only recently bought the game via steam and am trying to setup a working Arma 3 Linux Dedicated Game Server... You don't need the launcher, you can load mods via the -mod parameter. And as far as I'm aware there is a special proton launcher that supports linking workshop mods. There is the ArmaOnUnix discord, they'll be able to help you, you can find invite on Arma discord. Correct battleye doesn't work on Linux, but I have played on a battleye enabled server maybe twice in the last 4 years. Also not sure what directx12/vulkan would help with linux compatibility.
