Wonderful pic, will there be a desert marpat addon? And what is the standard weapon of the marpat marines in your pack, are there M16a2's and A4's?

I think the current conflit marines wear desert MARPAT mixed with woodland NBC vests, so I guess we already have desert MARPAT to an extent. And yes I do belive they have made all the M16 variants. I am not sure though, and I'd guess that the marines standard weapon in this pack will be the M16A4 as in real life.

The initial pack will be woodland MARPAT...however, once complete, I plan to revisit the 'current conflict' unit in order to fix him up quite a bit. I will probably also do a Marine in FULL desert MARPAT and maybe a couple more variants that will also be released with the revised 'current conflict' unit.

The standard weapon for the MARAPT USMC units is dependant upon the class...the M16a4 will be the standard rifle, however, the M16a2 will also be included should a mission designer choose to use those instead. Of course Earl is working on a full array of small arms for them, so there will be a good selection of weapons to choose from.

The initial MARPAT pack will probably not include a gassmask, however, I would be happy to do a full NBC unit for the 'current conflict' guys. I am quite interested in doing this! ...its a great idea!

Might it be possible to add a "gasmask view" to this. Like the binoclular.

spooky background. The picture I was refering to is VERY small though. I don't think you had that one as a background (or do you have a 2inch monitor?). Might be a high res version of it, though.

Adding a gasmask-view will really make things more realistic. It will also prefent everyone from using this one just for eye-candy. In a real-life battle a gasmask sucks!

The current issue gas mask is identical to the gas masks worn by the OPFOR in Half-Life which I presume to be Force Recon.

BTW, this gasmask would look badass.
