Server load testing

Sorry if slightly off topic.

There is a bit of a disparity between editing/testing a mission with a couple of players, and finally playing the mission on a dedi. Everything can seem fine during initial testing, good server FPS etc. but once the players join and bullets start flying, FPS rates can change dramatically with complaints all round. I was wondering therefore if any body had any tips/software suggestions to load test a dedicated server mission before opening night?
