Use the radio for support

Hello,

I do a little solo mission editing, and I would like to know if it was possible to go through a radio to request air support, logistics etc. etc.

Exactly as UNSUNG does, but for ARMA ACE3.

I would like the same thing as on this video:

Is it possible ?

Totally possible as your video post illustrates. The technique used in the video is a custom GUI (graphic user interface) or "Dialog" with a radio texture applied to it. The buttons on the GUI fire scripts or functions to achieve the desired effect.

This is not a simple process. Step one is to open the GUI editor. Load an empty map, escape to the menu and click "GUI Editor". Here's a link to the wiki page. And a tutorial.

Once you have a GUI you can press the buttons and see nothing happen because there aren't any functions applied to the buttons.

Configure the scripts you want, like calling an airstrike, and apply them to the button functions in the dialogs.hpp or descriptions ext. files.

You can play with the GUI in my TEST LAB to see how it all works.
