Its more for imagination or when you're playing on maps like Malden.

Honestly, its just a grey (well white texture haha)

I plan on doing some more liveries soon such as a Park Ranger livery
and maybe a rescue (With the white one? [ill make it more of a aircraft grey or something]

Maybe rename the grey one from Naval to River Patrol ...(  the whole area is known for his rivers and lake systems...so yeah)

Edit...really like it 🙂

First of all, the re-skins look good, nice work.

Would you consider doing a Buzzard, or Gripen re-skin?

Apperciate the kind feedback. I definitely look forward to adding more content. Funny enough, I been using the Altian one with the Grey texture in the meantime, was thinking of using that (Change the flag) along with a camo variant.

My goal is currently getting the texture camo right. (Wish BIS could help me with the camo pattern. (Patterns drawing are the biggest pain for me.)
I can definitely get to work on a buzzard. I'll go for the Gripen first since we already got two helicopters for LDF and no planes. 🙂

I also plan on learning how to add Editor screenshots and editor mod logos in 3den unit editor so my mods will appear as a logo and not just a puzzle piece haha.

I would maybe suggest the Neophron instead, because if I remember correctly, the Polish do actually use a licensed variant of the real world equivalent. It would also differentiate them from the AAF a bit.

Would you possibly have a sample of the camo pattern you used?

Okay, yeah, that would probably fit more with the environment too considering its more smaller too. I'll probably do both. One as a Attack, the other as a fighter. Here's the Gryphon so far.

Send me a message and i'll send you a color pallete (the camo is just a reworked copy of the M90 Camo pattern)

Currently its just a regular default white. I am working on a update right now that will instead declutter the Helicopter menu by putting 1 Mohawk instead of 3 and Camo, Grey, OD will become liveries. I also plan on adding some more fun stuff like a "Forest Service" type livery and maybe even a rescue for RP purposes. Stay tuned for more! 😄

I noticed you released a re-skin for the Gripen, it turned out really nicely.

I would encourage you to put all the re-skins into one mod, it would make it so much easier to just download one mod for LDF re-skins. It would also likely be easier for you to only have to maintain one mod.

Anyway, thanks for the re-skins.

I thought about this but my main concern was regarding DLC.

Because the Gryphon requires Jets DLC and the Mohawk is stock. I didn't want to limit my whole mod to only an audience that has Jets DLC and Contact. I may go this route though later on though.

Very well done reskins , the LDF seemed pretty lacking in terms of assets for a country fearful of Russian interference , Bohemia might expand on them later but for now im glad modders are giving this new faction love.

Wouldn't it make more sense if text on the helicopter was in Polish?

Someone else asked me that too, but given they're a NATO member, I just kept it english since English is like the common second language of Europe. Plus their Park Ranger and stuff is in English.

I personally think the Nyx would fit very well....maybe the Kuma but that's it for my taste 🙂

Kuma fits, because Poland uses Leopards 2, just older variants, but.

Gryf Bajeczny

Fairy Gryphon, eh? Is there an actual Gripen called that?

😄

I would definitelly appreciate, if in real world countrypart (does such pun-neologism sound good in English?) they chose this line of equipment naming policy, instead of cliche, like birds of prey for air ships or absurdal, like frutti di mare for artillery.

In Poland would be in Polish but in fact I do not remeber any case of Polish military chopper with any kind of phrase/name on it, just insignia and the number.

XD haha man that does sound silly.  It was a rough translation from Google. Now you say it like that. I will fix and just call it the Gryf. Since the Lynx has its own special name. I am trying to keep to lore a bit.

But I really think, it's super cool! Very unorthodox and funny, but in a good way. Just imagine an army equipped with vehicles named consistently along that line. Fantastic indeed!

A Nyx would be really nice ! I'm not against a prowler too 🙂 But I think that the Leo is a bit to big for an army like the livonian one

Since the LDF are a member of NATO, what about an A-164 Wipeout?

Here's a pic using,

this setObjectTexture[0,"#(argb,8,8,3)color(0.518,0.519,0.455,0.2)"];
this setObjectTexture [1,"#(argb,8,8,3)color(0.518,0.519,0.455,0.2)"];

This is a crude example, but I think it has potential if properly re-skined.

Just noticed that the plane's bottom is camouflaged, which is never done to planes.
