i never played dayz mod on Arma 2 

which difference with arma 2 assets? there is a list?

That's absolutely great news @Tom_48_97 Would you be able to provide a general time frame for the release of the DayZ Mod LDP or is it too soon to say?

 

Also note that people in the DZSA Workshop are already uploading DayZ Mod assets... While no surprise, you may want to clarify the issue on the DayZ SA Forum too

I have been told it takes a while until the BI assets are split from community ones. So we will have a wait a little longer until the data packages will be released.

instead of the boring Dayz mod's stuff,  why not the awesome tech stuff from Take on Mars?
would be fantastic for mission makers especially for PVP mode

How about both? But on June 7 we were told we were getting this and Bohemia have said nothing since despite requests for info... I am assuming at this point it is a broken promise, nothing will happen and they hope that people will forget.

 

Maybe tomorrow they will announce a Take on Mars LDP... If they do, do not expect to get it...

So was this a delayed April Fool's thread... cause we are half a year later... Or was it just that Bohemia did not want us moaning about ARMA assets in DZSA without some form of reciprocity and thought we'd forget about that after a while...?

 

Seriously June 7th...  

 

Okay, so I feel like an idiot... The DayZ Mod LDP is on Bohemia's LDP site now... someone really could have let us know though...

so maybe i didn't understand the licenses (due the english is not my native language), But the datas are binarized. To port them in arma 3 I have to unbinarized all. I break the licenses in this case?

That's the same as the ARMA 2 Licensed Data Packages that have binarized models. The unbinarized models were in the ARMA 2 Sample Models packs @zukov

 

And yes, you cannot unbinarize them, but most of the models will work without issues in ARMA 3

Making progress... note, just using a simple loiter/aggro script. Will have attacks, feeding and sounds in the next video...
