#Release 0.8.1: Grimdark Armory
The Warhammer 40,000 brought to ArmA 3 in full detail!
This mod is a WIP and subject to change

Currently AI factions are lacking and player equipment is the major focus.
This will change as more equipment is made.

 

#Important Functionality Notes

Currently plasma heat can only be checked in ACE menu, if oyur not using ACE you cannot find out your heat levels.


#Content
The mod will contain expanded forces of Imperial Guard, Chaos factions (Traitor Guard, Bloodpact etc) and eventually Tau.
This includes weapons, vehicles, character meshes.

#Purpose
Grimdark Armory is brought on by a desire to have high quality 40k content within the 40k universe, focusing heavily on player experience and useability. 

#Early Release? Why?
This is to facilitate any feedback. As this is primarily a one person effort large rounds of bug quashing can be taxing and demoralizing.
With limited content being released, I get to address the issues quickly and efficiently.

Very Nice...minor thing... the Cadian uniform seems a bit to bright, it should be a more khaki/sand colour 🙂  green armor parts looking fine though  !

Im not against looking into adjusting the texture. Ill look into it for the update after valk most likely :)

Retextures will likely happen after more content is added.

This is primarily being done by me so anytime spent adding another texture, or config etc. Is another model or new asset not being made.

That being siad I do have some other talented co-modders so if one of them is available between tasking we can investigate then.

This is going for a more Arma looking style right? More Non-fiction compared to the 40k universe approach on looks. Also what about wear on the weapons and gear? Gear and equipment just seems rather glossy.

This going for a middle ground of ArmA and 40k. There is wear, however materials do need a bit more work.

Dev Warning: Currently TIOW appears to be conflicting with air vehicle turrets. 

If you enable TIOW with Grimdark the rear gunner for the Valkyrie will not function.

Sadly there isn't a fix I can do as this a TIOW issue.

 

This effects other mods such as RHS and even vanilla BIS aircraft.
