How to convert ArmA 2 mods to ArmA 3(personal use)?

I have downloaded the CUP terrain,vehicles,weapons and units.

So you need a specific faction? I have to be honest and I have to tell that my knowledge of modding is 0, but as far as I know, I think that u need to install first CUP, and after load the mod u need. Probably this will work. But in some mods it give some sort of various problem. For a specific mod (without errors) u have to redesign the mod from 0.

First and foremost. You need the author permission.

Secondly Arma 2 stuff are not completely compatible with Arma 3 upgrades, so even if you had permission, it is unlikely to be able to use everything made for A2.
