This started out as a small add-on adding a few textures for a single player mission that will probably never see the light of day and ended up as a (still small) CAG/Delta Force faction for RHS. It is merely a stopgap until UnderSiege’s Gear & Uniforms are released.

 

To make it clear for the start: The gear used for the units isn’t a hundred percent accurate or even close. Since I do only retextures, I have to work with what the community gave us and in this case I wanted to keep the add-on dependencies to a minimum. So, what do you get?

 

· one assault troop with four teams and a HQ

· one recon team

· in total, more than 30 individually equipped operators (no identical units) in two variants: night ops and day ops

· armed with Toadie’s HK416s and RHS’ weapons

· equipped with JPCs, MMACs, OpsCores and Airframes from Adacas Military Gear Pack

· some retextures (mostly OpsCores, Airframes with Multicam covers and some patches)

· a CCT and a PJ unit

· units with Pufu’s excellent SCARs once RHS releases them

· ZEUS support (hopefully… hasn’t been tested)

 

What won’t you get?

· new models

· big updates in the future

  (I consider is add-on finished and will only maintain but not expand it)

· DEVGRU (many other mods out there)

If anyone wants to take some more and post them in this thread, feel free to do so.

 

To change the tabs/flag patches on the G3 use

_objectname setObjectTexture [6,"yourtexture_ca.paa"]; for the right side,

_objectname setObjectTexture [7,"yourtexture_ca.paa"]; for the left side

and

_objectname setObjectTexture [4,"yourtexture_ca.paa"];

for the patch on the left sleeve.

Are the covers part of the model or just a texture added to the base shells? Either way, they look really sick.

Just a little thought: Don't forget about us poor autoriflemen/mg gunners, we need some love too! I'm just joking btw, but I'd love to see some mg variants of the vests. If you decide to make them I'll be more than happy to use them on the battlefield.

Unfortunately, the JPC and MMAC heavy gunner variants don’t not offer much space for patches. :sad:

 

I'd really like to include a M249 in tan camo paint but since the RHS SAWs have no hidden selections, that won’t be possible.

A fair few pics of Rangers, Delta etc. in recent years have shown them with M249s rather than Mk.46

Check the gas plugs compared to the Mk.46

More Rangers can see the magazine well here too

 

Increased order for Mk.46 and Mk.48 late last year might imply there was a shortage of Mk.46s for a while

I know, but that will yank up the dependencies since the NIArms Minimi pack needs the M60 pack (plus RHS compatibility mods).

Meanwhile... some backpack experiments. Jonny really did a great job back in the days...

I have considered making an AOR-1 or Multicam camo but decided not to do it. Since there are no matching attachments out there, these would look out of place. Retexturing attachments and scopes sadly is out of the question, because hidden selections don’t work on these.

 

But there will be a small addition to the HK416s in the next update. Since Toadie2k released the source files, I’ve decided to add two new configurations: One normal D10 with a Magpul CTR stock and one with Geissele rails and a CTR stock. Almost nobody on the CAG pictures I’ve seen uses the standard stock, so, I will drop these variants in the next update. (Only for the units, they will still be available in the arsenal.)

Also, I will fix the inventory pictures for the new camo versions. My solution is not elegant, but it works.

might i suggest doing FDE finish giesselle handguards with an FDE anodized finish receiver in the D10 configuration? some examples below, they aren't painted, thats the finish on them.

that FDE rifle looks great! I might add that in addition to the ARO2 uniforms, occasionally you can see them in marpat woodland g3s too, to blend in with the YPG forces who run a variety of marpat copies.
