KunBojowy 0 Posted October 25, 2018 Hi. Disclaimer for moderators: I don't know why I can only create topic under "Arma 3 - DLC". Be free to move It to somewhere else (unless It would be trash ;)) There's an experimental port available for Linux users. Unfortunately incomplete and only with 32 bit binaries. Not long ago new Steam Play with Proton platform came up. It made a major part of games playable on Linux. Is there any chance to make it possible to install Windows version of Arma 3 on native Linux Steam client via Proton? It seems that this port made It impossible ;(
Piesa 0 Posted December 2, 2018 I could not agree more. It would be great if we coud use Arma3 with Proton on Linux Steam client. Especially that Korneel van 't Land said that the studio's goal right now is "to keep Arma 3 fresh and exciting for at least several more years". And 32bit binaries are definitely not fresh. kolorafa 0 Posted January 18, 2019 Steam Linux latest update: > Added the ability to force-enable Steam Play in per-title properties, including for native games So now there is a way! I'm so gonna test it this weekend.
