Features:

HETMAN NR6 Edit: Real time AI commanders on both sides .

Playability: Single player or CO-OP. Single Player - performance may dip but will improve as the mission goes on. Multiplayer - Dedicated server with support for up to two Headless Clients. Please note: if you die in multiplayer you need to go back to the lobby and select another slot. Not tested on a local host.

CSAAF: Fed up with fighting CSAT aliens? Fight CSAAF instead.

Switchable Group Map Icons: Turn on or off using the Radio menu (0-0) Optional: Load CBA mod for more detailed group names, some still need to be added

TeamSwitch: Press U to switch roles and fight the war from a different perspective.

Zeus: TeamSwitch to the Zeus slot and press Y .Watch the war being fought. Please note: using Zeus to add units in multiplayer may cause strange effects.

Hello,

 

Im pleased to release the beta of my first mission based on HETMAN NR6 edition.

There are two versions including a dedicated server compatible version with support for a single headless client as well as a single player version. The headless client is managed via Whertles Headless Script. My aim is using the awesome HETMAN NR6 script to create a real time large scale dynamic battle. 

 

Please note my scripting knowledge is virtually non existent and this is my first mission for a dedicated server. I have managed to get it all to work however I suspect there are better methods I could use. Any feedback is appreciated. Please read the description on the workshop page.

Updated descriptions on the workshop and made some enabled some features on the single player mission.

 

Forgot to mention I made some small edits to get all stock ARMA 3 artillery working correctly. Edited files are: RHQLibrary.sqf, VarInit.sqf and init.sqf. Changes are commented. Based on HETMAN NR6 1.22.6

 

 

 

Risky Whisky Co-op (211 slot + Zeus) with headless client test

 

First demo of Risky Whisky featuring HETMAN NR6 edition. 

Respawn is set to spectator, to rejoin you must exit to the slot selection menu and select an available slot. For this reason a dedicated server is highly recommended. Support for a single headless client. Zeus slot available with all items on map added at mission start. If a headless client is available OPFOR AI with some exceptions will be offloaded via Whertles Headless Script.

PLEASE NOTE: No end trigger is currently set, to be added in future.

No mods are not required but CBA is recommended to correctly display squad call signs in game.

Risky Whisky SP test

 

Risky Whiskey single player featuring HETMAN NR6. 

Performance may vary in intense battles and usually improves as the mission progresses. Teamswitch is available (press U by default) including a Zeus slot (Teamswitch and then press Y to launch Zeus). I have also included most of the HETMAN war stories options in the support menu (Press 0 - 8). Map markers are enabled by default, if you teamswitch they must be recycled in the support menu to re-enable. Please note: No end trigger has been set yet so the mission will not end, I will add this in future. 

No mods are required but CBA is recommended to correctly display squad call signs.

I have to admit, so far its taken far more work than I anticipated. I have let the mission play though about 30 - 40 times just to see the outcome, its still needs more OPFOR to provide a decent challenge. The hardest part so far is the scripting, Im still trying to figure out how to implement an end trigger than can detect the war has been effectively won without the player having the scour the map to finish off the stragglers while also not demanding many resources. if you can provide any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it!

Since mission is Hetman-driven, useful may be ending conditions similar to used by me in HWS scenario:

 

1. Exemplary condition, if pointed Leaders are dead (Leader death-based end): 

 

(({alive _x} count [leaderHQ,leaderHQB]) < 1)

 

2. Exemplary condition based on Leader's morale:

 

(((group leaderHQB) getVariable ["RydHQ_Morale",0]) < -49)

 

or based on hostile units count treshold:

 

((LeaderHQ countEnemy allUnits) < 10)

 

if LeaderHQ is allied with player, instead may be also:

 

((player countEnemy allUnits) < 10)

 

Conditions may be combined using OR, AND operators.

Change log:
Added intel report - every 5 mins in chat a report on the strength of friendly and enemy forces will appear.
All non apex DLC playable units and weapons should now be removed.
Spawned units (eg via Zeus) will now be added to headless clients. Spawned artillery units not functional at this time.
All units should display the correct call signs at all times
Loads of other stuff I cant remember.
