kgino1045 12 Posted October 10, 2018 I can see that i can move object horizon by press 'X' in Zeus but kinda make this difficult in editor. I want to place object on slopes but whenever i place it, it follow the terrain shape so i can't make the object placement in horizon. Is there any similar function that i describe it which Zeus do? or other editing and scripting tips?
Harzach 2505 Posted October 10, 2018 Toggle vertical mode with the [ ' ] key. Or use the GUI: Objects won't be upright when you place them, but they will snap to upright when you rotate them (shift + left click/drag).
kgino1045 12 Posted October 11, 2018 How do i work same at unstable terrain? such as rubble area or bumpy area. each segment make object jumping around and when ever i try to Shift + mouse drag it's not line up with horizon. what i want to say i don't want any rotation on X and Y. Harzach 2505 Posted October 11, 2018 You can also turn off "Snap to Terrain" (next to Vertical Mode in GUI), but that won't change whether or not your object maintains a 0 X/Y rotation. That's what vertical mode does. Maybe I am not understanding your question.
kgino1045 12 Posted October 11, 2018 Sorry for misleading. however i think that snap to terrain toggle could work and help my problem.
