Ravaged and Frithified Gear

So i might just push the next update without the wound textures for the paramilitary outfit, at least until I find a solution myself or BI can patch in a fix themselves. (I've raised it in the Dev Branch Discussion thread)

I'm going to add those "retro/futuristic" style civilian outfits, they look a lot better with muted colours....

Added 5 retro style outfits.

Added Paramilitary outfit (complete with baton and cuffs).....Screenshots in the previous 2 posts. ^^

Steam Workshop has been updated. 

 

I think the pack is big enough and varied enough to create a few "post-apo" style factions, stay tuned....:rthumb:

I've already made a few "gangs" using Drongos excellent Config Generator.

There's actually a nice enough mix of gear to create some bad-ass gangs Sol Yurick would be proud of.

The next update will be a European style Civilian Expansion...

Ravaged and Frithified Gear has been updated.

 

Added a European themed Civilian Expansion:

20 unique civilians created using a mixture of Ravaged and Frithified gear plus vanilla assets.

They can be found in Eden under the Civilian tab > EO Civilian Expansion.

 

Designed with the Civilian Presence modules in mind.

Add this piece of code to the main Civilian Presence module in the "Code On Unit Created" box:

_this setUnitLoadout selectRandom ["EO_Hoodie_4","EO_Retro_1","EO_Retro_2","EO_Tee_1","EO_Tee_2","EO_Jacket_2","EO_Tee_3","EO_Jacket_1","EO_Tattoo_1","EO_Shirt_1","EO_Shirt_2","EO_Jacket_3","EO_Hoodie_1","EO_Tee_5","EO_Hoodie_2","EO_Hoodie_3","EO_Retro_3","EO_Tee_4","EO_Tattoo_2","EO_Shirt_3"];

there would be a fantastic tac vest  in brown leather if you reuse a brown deck handler vest, need to work on  a new rvmat maybe

These guys have also been added to the included Civilian Expansion.

 

Regarding the Civilian Expansion, since adding this pbo it's creating a one off warning message when you interact with any of the Civilian Expansion within Eden...

No entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgWeapons.'.

I've still to get to the bottom of why it's producing this error, but for the most part it doesn't seem to be having a detrimental effect once it has been clicked.

I've been using Drongo's Config Generator to create these new factions, maybe the error is generated from using this tool, I've posted feedback on his workshop page but he has yet to answer.

 

Anyway regardless of these monkeyshines, have fun as always. :rthumb:

i was having a look at this since i've been recently fixing similar errors for my own mods (in my case i was using outdated syntax in config weapons)... but i can't find any configWeapons entries for the uniforms in ''eo_civilian_expansion.pbo"?

Lol, me neither!....Apparently it's a confirmed bug when generating the config using Drongo's Config Generator, he said it will be addressed in his next update.

ah right, that IS the bug! no problem, it should get fixed when drongo does his thing then, i could still write one up for the time being if you want but it might be easier just to leave it.

 

its not really game breaking its just after doing my own configs i get a chill down my spine when i see that message 😉

Small update:

Fixed a config error relating to the Civilian Expansion.

Added a Hunter Camo bergen.

Added a Hunter Camo safari hat.

 

With this update, if you hook this up with my GM Uniforms, you can create a couple of fully fledged Hunter dudes...
