I've noticed a bunch of unused textures. But wasn't sure if there were models to go with it or which models the textures were tied to.

Hey EO, I don't know if this fits with your theme, but the snake texture looks cool when used on a shirt.  If you like it, maybe you want to make a frithified snake shirt.  🙂 Just an idea buddy, don't waste your time on it, if it doesn't interest you.

this setObjectTextureGlobal [ 0, "\A3\Animals_F\Snakes\data\Snake_Leopard_CO.paa"];

All good man, it's nice to get some ideas...

Just had a look at those snake textures...Oh man, they are really cool.

The leather band around the safari hats would look pretty neat with those textures too....I'll look into it. :f:

A few variations of these are coming soon...

...unfortunately the baton and cuffs are merely eye candy and serve no function, but they look cool right? :rthumb:

that looks ace! i always wondered which faction they where supposed to be that has a partisan arm-band to denote faction but also has a police baton and handcuffs?

the only other hidden uniform i can remember is very futuristic looking, curious to see if you can 'ravage and frithify' that too! 😉

anyways, keep it up bud 🖖

theres a short sleeve jacket (why would that be a thing) which looks very star trek!

class C_man_frith4_F: Civilian_F//jerkin
	{
		scope = 1;
		model="\A3\characters_F\civil\c_citizen4.p3d";
		uniformClass="U_C_Commoner4_frith";
		hiddenSelections[] = {"camo1", "camo2"};
		hiddenSelectionsTextures[] = {"\A3\Characters_F\Civil\Data\c_cloth2_co.paa", "\A3\Characters_F\Civil\Data\c_cloth4_bandit_co.paa"};
	};

i don't have any pictures but i think thats the config entry i had with the model and texture paths

Does that work with Vest, or webbing?

To be honest the unused/hidden stuff doesn't work well with the majority of vests and backpacks, lots of clipping. Especially that Micheal Jackson "Thriller" jacket. ^^

However you can find some stuff that brings it together...

So, what to do.....I've found a tiny little error that's stopping me from applying the wound textures to the unused paramilitary outfit from the characters_f pbo, here's the problem....

In the paramilitary_body_injury.rvmat the path to the wound texture is...

texture = a3\characters_f\civil\data\paramilitary_body_injury_mc.paa

However, the name of the .paa texture in the actual data file is...

paramilitary_body_injury.paa

so as you can see it's missing the _mc

Does any body know how to remedy this problem, as I highly doubt BI would address this seeing as though they don't use these files.

I've never created or edited an rvmat file for this pack as the need as never materialized thus far.

There's probably an easy fix somewhere, but i'm not seeing it at the moment...:hmmm:

you could rename a copy of the .rvmat, edit it so its right and then pack that with your mod and refer to it in the config

be aware there is a bug surrounding custom textures/rvmats and injury textures not loading, i can't remember exactly what it is but some googling should get it 😉

Already tried that without success.....I'll endeavour to find a solution.
