The Lowlands Warrior team has decided to start releasing Alpha stage mods in order to get more feedback on the content and maybe encourage more modders to join the team

History

Back in the early 2000's LLW started as a mod for the original Rainbow Six series, creating a large arsenal of NL Army/Marines weapons. Shortly afterwards they started creating content for Operations:Flashpoint (aka Arma: Cold War Assault) They released a large pack with terrains, vehicles, aircraft, weapons and units which what THE only dutch armed forces mod around at the time.

Current plan

The LLW team is not as big as in the old days. Many have stopped modding. Although, those who still have a bit of spare time dream about doing what was done before, this time in Arma 3. (Or 4?)

Whatever we are creating now will be released here in the following posts.

We hope every one will enjoy the mods, even while in early development stage.

Hereby the Lowlands Warrior team presents you the standalone PiP enhanced Viewdistance mod! (again)

It has been a long missing feature, especially to the Arma3 pilots to be able to see far out with their PiP sensors. Also mission makers sometimes couldn't get the effect they wanted with projected UAV view.

This mod allows you to extend your PiP viewdistance up to 12000 meters. As we keep testing this our selves we may update it to high levels if no crashing related to these settings present them selves.

So far, with the highest settings on a moderate gaming computer, no noticeable difference was noticed by the users. Neither on a several dedicated server

Have fun!

Congratulations on the release!

Now I need to find my house.

Use 3Den to populate the area around your house. Don't hesitate to try and make a 3d Drawing of your house aswel (Use Scetchup if you are not much of a modeller). We will put it in the content and give you credit.

Send over an export or mission.sqm and we will see to it, it will be implemented in the next release!

A little update from our side:

- The AH-64E Guardian will be released soon as a public beta. (Which will not be more than a facelifted version of our previous A2 Apache port)

- Middle Brabant terrain (42x42km) is now fully populated by forests and we are making progress on the hightmap. When these two are complete we will start to release beta updates

- We are currently working on a Retexture of vanilla assets with the newNFP camo paterns. We are looking for a modeler to make propper uniforms.

- Mercedes-Benz 290GD, we expect to release a beta of soon after the AH-64E

- PZH 2000 is on-hold but we have a model ready. (which doesn't have the issue as earlier this time........)

- Still hesitating to continue the work on the C7/C8 NLD.

Yes sir

the re-release of the RNLAF AH-64D (E) is close to public release. Working on the RNLAF CH-47

The Middle Brabant terrain is having some  memory difficulties due to it's size and number of objects on it.

I really liked AH-64E Apache but it gives me an error

Could you be more specific?

When I start the game, a message (Picture <workdir>\some\where\logo.paa not found) appears in the game menu, then when I select the map an error message. I really liked this mod, I consider it the best of all helicopters, especially the sounds of the shots are very realistic. I apologize for my English.

Ill reupload in a few days

Again you are not specific on the second, when you select the map. Or is it the same error?
