Everything in bounding sphere/box is tested for collision I think, a plane is quite wide with it's wings and probably hits the rocks. So yeah it counts. But seems simple to remake the rocks with a very simple collision geometry that should be performance friendlier.

-Well.. meadows and roads mostly. Also some trees I suppose.

I guess I'm having a hard time understanding why I should be interested in this map.  Sure, it looks pretty and the attention to detail is greatly appreciated.  But now you're telling me I might be walking through a meadow and stumble upon a bunch of Russian/Insurgents waiting to gun me down with their BMP-whatever? 

 

I mean, I guess I can get over that, but only if it's released "soon."

I suspect Livonia structures will be made available for non-owners after a while, in a similar way Tanoa ones were. Probably just a matter of time, BIS doesn't exactly have a lot of manpower working on ArmA3.

 

Are you planning to release a "dev" build in a similar way to main RHS mod, or is there no point in doing that for terrains?

Hi Folks,

 

Been AWOL for a while - I've seen it mentioned/alluded to here that there were some updates to PKL possibly released ? Is that so - the timestamp on Steam still shows 2017 - if there have been updates since that are available elsewhere - could someone give me a vector ?

 

Some mighty fine looking screenshots there - simply magical...

PKL, Vidda and Katya will be released on the RHS workshop in time. No ETA on any of it.. Other guys in RHS are also working on things for them but they will show their work in progress themselves. Or not. 🙂

 

Currently we are setting up a core mod, RHSTERRACORE which will contain all the artwork required by and shared between the 3 maps. Soon as that is done, The new versions of the maps will be out one by one. Probably PKL first.

Looks great, similar feel to my fav map with dense forests called schmafelden from A1, personally I'd maybe add some more 'forest based debris', ala some more broken twigs and small trees, branches ect. Nice work!
