I am trying to implement Helicopter Taxi Script by Jigsor but it doesnt work on your version...

maybe you could add paid (ammo) option to call npc controlled helicopter to pick up player and his squad and unload in targetted by player destination ?

In script which i used to use, it was spawning randomly, going to player marked "pick location", and after player on board to moved to "drop location" and despawn.

for red dot, look at init_client.sqf

line5, adapt "disableMapIndicators [false,true,false,false];"

 

to change air support:

see "scripts\client\misc\drop_support.sqf"

I was talking about making the players have a standard spawn loadout. For example on the Tanoa map people spawn in with none pacific gear, I looked around in the mission files but I do not seem to be able to change it

also, I have noticed an issue in which the players ammo count will not save on my dedicated server

is this intentional?

Hi,

 

nope, it should works as for other server mode.

 

just notice that you must have a score > 20 pts to have a save slot on the server nd the server save the game state every 30sec

It is okay the issue was that the players did not have 20 score

recycling building need the Captain rank,

you can check player permission when logged as admin with "Permission Menu"

new update released:

 

-Call Air Taxi !!
-better dog managment
-better vehicle menus
-land mine at side mission
-new civilian vehicle
-pickup can load one ammobox
-automatic parachute (when ejecting)

 

bugfix:
 delete cargo
 salavge huron box
 cleanup

  Sarahni  (very very nice Island !)

pSiKO,

i know that Wasteland is already, but its not the same what i think exactly. 

i was wondering, is there any possibility to transform Liberation in to PVP mode, with the same economy ?

lets say we have 2 factions conquering entire island, which already is under control of 3rd faction ?

 

at start Guerilla is in control of all island and NATO and CSAT are conquering it? That could be neverending war?

Sorry to bother you. I'm a player of OFP. I find this topic of you by seraching "squad.xml".

The "squad" files work for OFP windows server on IE6, but not work for IE11. However win10 nowadays don't allow setup IE6. Thus I come to consult whether there's a way solve this, modify "squad" files to support IE11.

My problem has been solved.

if you need any help with testing, ballance, suggestions - i will be glad to help. 

 

Anyway to the current Liberation RX, on my server  people are buying a lot of staff and later cry that somoene destroyed it etc. 

what do you think about Virtual Garage / Storage for vehicles (like Altis life), it can also increase performance because vehicle can be hidden inside. It could be FOB bulding or an additional one ?

Virtual Garage is a good idea,

i can start to work on it,  may change the save game so I need some investigation.

 

this mission don't use a database, so I have to store data in savegame.

anyway, thx a lot for your feedback

A new update is out !

 

- add a new side mission "The Delivery"

- add the Virtual Garage (5 slot/player)

 

- adaptive difficulty on side missions

- update lobby to have more medic /engineer

- taxi no damage

- dog submenu (+ dog stop action)

 

- some weapons

- Chernarus Map (beta)

be sure to disable all other mod

i know the savegame is corrupt, and the map is in beta

i play with some friends without too much trouble

How easy is it to port this to a new Terrain  -  could you let me know , is it just replacing the mission.sqm  and markers etc..  ?

Hi,

it's quite simple, just copy one of each marker (capture, factory, mission etc)
copy the Chimera layout, the spawn  points (respect the position).


it should be fine


look at the other Maps to see how they are placed.

you may need to change some value in "gameplay_constants.sqf"

day start / stop,  island name, save name, etc.

 

just try, feel free to ask if you have trouble

Perfect it seems to be running now  -  just a few Q -

 

1)  is there a way to turn off or change the Ranking system ?

2) The cash point / telephone does it just use the models  -  and is there a way to get all the locations other than going to each location and getting the pos ?

3) How can i remove the admin command  -  as after testing i don't want that it removes temptation of cheating  🙂

so far so good !

 

1) you cannot disable the ranking system, but you can use the server parameter "Permissions = 0; " to give all permissions to players.

or when logged as Commander, you can change permission for all players.

 

2) use the code (executed in console, result in RPT file.) to get all the position for an object (in this example: 'atm_' )

you can make a custom list of marker with the file "fixed_position.sqf"

 

3) you have bunch of option you can enable/disable

take a look at "mission_param.cfg" file

 

in your case you can  "CheatMenu = 0; "
