Clipping means wonky overlapping of gear/uniforms/whatever. Like if a unit has a vest on, but the uniform is a different size so the uniform pokes through the vest at certain points.

I understand, thanks for the explanation. Well, I guess that really would be a problem at the moment using the reins of FoW, but if really Simcardo plans to create their own Gears, I could think about this when it comes to adjusting the measurements.

Still no, because I'd like to have my uniforms remain compatible with fow gear as well. I already hate the fact that ifa3 and fow each have different uncompatible proportions. Therefore, I refuse to make an entirely new proportion that wont be compatible with anything but my own.

And tbh, if it was up to me (which isn't), I'd want all factions (and possibly of both mods) to have the same proportions so they can interchange gear and stuff, for example so i can wear british web gear with american uniform, something like in vanilla A3. But oh well

Although in a way it isn't necessary, like, why would I wear a german web gear along with an american uniform? I guess it's just some kind of OCD that i have

It is true that we would all be very happy if ifa3 and fow shared proportions. You do not know how hateful it is for me to have to decide between using the GEIST models and camouflages or the FoW models because the hamstrings do not fit well with each other. But hey, I suppose that it is a question that we choose which is more suited to what each one prefers. Right now I have this list for WW2 in ArmA 3:

IFA3_AIO_LITE: Weapons, Vehicles and Maps (and soon, English assets)

IFA3 Liberation ACE: More Vehicles

Sabers Secret Weapons: Aircraft and Ships

GEIST: High quality textures for Germans, Russians, secondary nations and some weapons

US General Equipment and Accssories (US G.E.A): High quality uniforms for Americans

Faces of War: Provisionally provides English assets and reins for US G.E.A

Update 6 June 2019

Edit

- added m1 helmets by motta and ethridge, units now wear these new helmets instead of IFA3 ones
- added webbings, combined work of Justin N., Tannenbaum, and brainfag, therefore units (except usmc) are no longer using FoW webbings
- added m44 packs
- added m36 packs/suspenders
- updated most existing models/textures (at least to some extent) to some extent
- Added Jeep cap Variants
- Added USN Deck Jackets
- Added Kapok Life Vest
- Added Paratrooper M1942 Uniform

- Added Rolled sleeve M43s w/ buckle boots

- added C47 retextures

- Added CC2 M41s
- Added M7 Gas Bags (worn on legs and chest) and brassards (worn on right arm) as glass/nvg item

aside from that, this mod changes most of the classnames of all the units, uniforms, packs, everything in the mod, therefore it is likely to break any mission that uses this pack (you have been warned tho!)

hello! since i've started fiddling with models some years ago, i've learned so much new things so that i can be better at modelling. with those stuff that i've learned i decided to re-do uniform models in this mod, so that they are smoother, more detailed, and generally better. here's few pics

1.png?token-time=1568160000&token-hash=7

so far, i've completed most of the M41 jackets, M43s, and 1943-pattern HBTs. HBT and M43 models has variations on them where one of the pockets are open. of course, these models are likely not final and are open to changes in the future.

Files!

Aside from all the content update, this pack has been re-configured/re-structured to be rather modular so that you can remove certain files if you wish to not play with certain things.

Core Files (do not remove):
- simc_uaf_44.pbo: most of the assets are here
- simc_uaf_44_preview.pbo: bunch of icons and editor preview

Other files:
- simc_uaf_44_divisie.pbo: file for all the numbered units and helmets
- simc_uaf_44_cfg.pbo: US Army equipments
- simc_mc_44.pbo: USMC/USN equipments
- simc_mc_44_cfg.pbo: USMC units (requires FoW)
- simc_uaf_44_floaties.pbo: US Aircraft Retextures
- simc_uaf_44_panzers.pbo: US Panzers Retextures
- simc_uaf_44_ifa3_replats.pbo: Replaces IFA3 US Army Assets
