I wrote a JBOY_PainGrunt script that may be similar to your, or may be useful to you. It re-uses some of the ingame sounds for pain. Feel free to borrow from this if it helps. JBOY_PainGrunt.sqf I used just a subset of the sounds that @Greenfist kindly provided me here. But there is enough for good variation. Any chance I can have the status bar script run even more flexible... i.e., spawned from inside an editor modules init? I'm always seeking for maximum flexibility and love to call code or whole script files (via execvm) directly from an editor modules init field. Advantage is, changes to script files apply already on restarting the mission. In case of a mod, you'd have to restart ArmA. Also I love quick and dirty missions. Start Eden, drop some ready to use code (saved as custom compositions), boom, play. No use of mission files... It's very easy to edit this without having really any script knowledge. The more of my scripts will run with all the features available , without need to do something more. I didn't know anything for the EVR Blowout script and @Slay No More told me about. First i was thinking of just porting this to Ravage mod , but right now it will work without any requirements. The cool part is that this script is affecting every Player on the Server and also the AI units , according to the protection parameter. This means that if you are wearing some certain equipment ( ex: Pilots helmet etc ) , or you are inside a building , or inside a car , then you will be ok . Otherwise you will have visual and damage effect with pain animation pos for a period of time. The Script is already complete for Release , but i 'm checking some last ideas !
