How do I make AI ignore object boundaries

Hi Guys

Is there a way to get AI to ignore close objects such as

 

A plane will get stopped by a rabbit or dead body while taxiing.  (I want the plane to takeoff without getting stuck)

An AI man can only move to a position no closer than 2.5 meters to an object like a ball.  (I want the man to walk right up to the ball not stop 2.5 meters away)

Nothing comes to mind right now but I'll have a think... You may have to do a lot of manual / force stuff when moving units to the ball for example.

Does creating them as simple objects or disabling simulation change anything?

Disable ambient life ( you'll save cpu resource btw) and place an atached trigger in front of plane, for deleting any object like corpse of wreck, even bomb crater. I did that with success for taxiway sweeping.
