FPS

Recommended Posts

I have a I7 7700k and a MSI Geforce 1060 3gb gpu. I look through my settings and realize that I have two gpus, one for intel graphics and another for nvidia. Would that be the reason that I have low fps?

No, that is not the reason at all.  You need to optimize your settings.

Follow this guide, it's the best on the topic.  Be sure to follow the Nvidia guide in the description as well.

I'm running a 4GB Nvidia card and I get 60 -80 FPS with these settings.

Go to My Documents, Arma 3 and open Arma3.cfg with notepad and change the default settings to the ones below.

refresh=240;

GPU_MaxFramesAhead=1;
GPU_DetectedFramesAhead=1;

See if that helps

Check your GPU priorities in nvidian control panel

Try to install https://www.msi.com/Landing/afterburner and take a look at your GPU/CPU usage

GPU should be above 80% atleast.

CPU under 70%.
