[WIP] MLV Mod - Project 1982 | Weapons, Units & Vehicles

This mod aims to recreat the argentine-british conflict of 1982, known as the Falklands War, we aim to have a good graphical quality, but overall have historical accuracy...

The Unsung Mod Team have Skyhawks, Have you asked to uyse them and put an Argentine skin on them?

I am curious to know what land based vehicles, the Argentinians used in the Falklands as I always thought this was an air sea and predominantly infantry conflict, I honestly don't know too much about the Argentina side and curious to know more.

They had AAV's and Panhard Armoured cars if memory serves me right

the Skyhawks from Unsung were made by us and then we shared with them, we could port it but the cabin needs alot of work on it also the textures seems to look diferent in arma2 they need work

as Road Runner says AAVs during the take on april 2, and Panhards during the war, + LARC5, unimogs trucks, mercedez benz trucks, some ford cars

giant ships are not the priority for now, but we could see how to approach it, from the british point we should develop submarines a torpedos, we will probably have to ask for help for others addon makers that make naval mods, we have made a little test with torpedos mixing the underwaterbullet with explosive but is not relieable, as for the belgrano wouldnt be hard to make it a target except for the 50mts limits on the geometry, as for the argentine side, if we want to make it as a playable ship thats a colosal work, maybe could be made as a building for a cinematic mission, yet a lot of work on 3d modelling, for now we need to focus on ground troops

Torpedoes should be possible, we had them in OFP with the CoC Torpedoes Mod.

we just updated the mod, argentine faction was changed to opfor, we added the m16a1, and the L1A1 in two wood variants

I know this is going to be a long project with working with the units, vehicles and the terrain but will turn out great once done but great work so far, Keep up to the great work and looking forward to seeing where it goes.

I love your Skyhawks, they are so great!  Such nice quality.

 

It's always nice to see more South American equipment in ArmA, we need all the representation we can get. ;)

I have a model for a Seaking Helicopter in .obj format if you are interested for your mod. For free of course because i have no way of porting it into arma 3. Hit me up if you are interested.

sure we are interested, but we need to know the author if he give us permission, or the copyright of the model at least
