Balschoiw 0 Posted December 17, 2002 read here: http://unfccc.int/resource/convkp.html#kp or here: http://unfccc.int/resource/docs/convkp/kpeng.html to find out more on the Kyoto protocols. And this link will lead you to a short introduction of what the ICC is about. http://www.rte.ie/news/features/referenda/court/margaretward1.html

FSPilot 0 Posted December 17, 2002 Is this the same ICC that attempted to convict, and I think did convict, George Bush Sr. for the gulf war?

FSPilot 0 Posted December 17, 2002 If you ask me that's pretty messed up. Â These guys are trying to pass of some of Iraq's terms off surrender as war crimes. link removed
Ex-RoNiN 0 Posted December 17, 2002 We already had the discussion about the Highway of Death And the International War Crimes court is different to the ICC. Milosevic is at the IWC, but not at the ICC. Different courts for different cases. EDIT: Removed your link because of inappropriate pictures. I didn't really want to see that

Tales_From_Topographic_Oceans 0 Posted December 17, 2002 Harnu: do a quick internet search on the name to find out the deep dark secret. It's actually one of the best rock albums. I am rippin' roarin and ready to go! While we are on the environmental subject (Kyoto--sounds like some Japanese rice dish), I have a bumper sticker on my car that reads: "pollution is the solution." Let's timber the rain forest to harvest its abundant natural resources. Let big business and industry discharge nitrogen in our river basins. Reminds me of a Grateful Dead song called "Smokestack lightning." Yep, let's create an impervious surface society where run-off is the result. Support nitrogen discharge. Ok back to the topic, what the hell are we discussing? Saddam Hussain (spelling?)? Yes he needs to be horse-whipped.

FSPilot 0 Posted December 17, 2002 Yes but we're not even arguing about the international policies effects on Iraq. First we were on Afghanistan (understandibly so) but then somehow we got sidetracked to Cuba.
