plz help......my pc run arma 3 is so lag......

Recommended Posts

My computer is running any mission, when the AI began to attack each other, then the computer becomes very, very lag.

Even if there is no mod and adjust to the lowest quality is the same.
Is there any way to improve the situation?
CPU:E5 2696 v4

RAM:32GB DDR 4

DP:GTX 1070 sli

THZ!

To start with, ARMA3 is a very CPU dependend game. So high clockspeed is a must, especially when multiple units are deployed.

Your processor has a 2.20Ghz clockspeed which is a bit low, i am sorry to say.

Can confirm your CPU is very unsuitable for Arma. You want close to 4 or more Ghz. More power per core and less cores. You have 22 cores there. Arma does 98% of it's work on just one of them.

There won' be any "magical" performance fixes like that Video that was linked. Your Hardware just isn't what Arma needs. You might be able to Overclock that CPU? Don't know if you actually can.

Thank you very much for your answer
Already use the # 2 method, now the picture is much smoother

After I started the task, I watched the CPUs run for an off time, none of which exceeded 60%.

What is most horrible is that after the zombies are placed in the single-player mode with the editor, the task starts lag ... but the rest Time has improved
However, I have a question about the CPU count settings, the more the core is better?

If it is 2696v4, should be set to how much?

Or how many cores does the game actually support?
In addition, this game can support nvidia sli?

THZ

Not like I already answered the CPU questions.

I don't know if it supports SLI. But I know that A single 1070 is more than enough for Arma.

Yes A3 supports SLI

However A3's engine is very CPU dependent, in particular clock speed & IPC.

So like others have said your PC is rather unbalanced.

Honestly you're better off selling one of your 1070s and your E5 2696 v4 and getting an i5-8600K (though you'll prolly have to change your mobo too).

是的,A3支持SLI

然而,A3的引擎是非常依賴CPU的,特別是時鐘速度和IPC。

所以像其他人一樣,你的電腦相當不平衡。

老實說,你最好賣掉你的1070和你的E5 2696 V4,並得到一個I5-8600K(儘管你會prolly不得不改變你的主板)。

Thanks for the solution, but I can not change the CPU because of the rendering job needed.
Now there is no method of discrimination, if the change of CPU, but less of the core, the speed of work will become a serious problem.
Now the picture transferred to normal, do not play any zombie module. . . . A little disappointed.

Followed this tutorial today and gained 12 FPS. And the game still looks great visually and runs way smoother.

Cheers.

It's the best guide out there.  Glad it helped.

As for your CPU, If it's Intel you can overclock to compensate for A3 CPU power dependency.  Try the Intel Xtreme Tuning Utility.  There are plenty of guides on YouTube that will teach you how to set it up.

Scott Out !
