LamaLarry 0 Posted December 16, 2017 I am a complete noob at making terrains in arma and have barely started on my first one, and while looking for tools and stuff to help me I came across visitor 3 a lot and checked out the wiki for it and from what I read it seems to have a very similar role to terrain builder, now am I wrong in assuming this and I'm just missing some information or if not what are the benefits of one over the other etc if any. any reply is appreciated Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
m1lkm8n 410 Posted December 17, 2017 Visitor 3 by itself can not complete and arma 3 terrain. It can not read the newer p3d files or export the sat normals required if you are using them. By far however terrain builder is a huge leap foward from vis3. You can do much more in terms of organizing such as create layers, creating shapefiles ext. i would use terrain builder and never look back 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
