I am using LARS compositions spawn-er and it has stopped working. The creator is not currently responding and hasn't be active since July.

here is the error message

You should ask in Eden composition spawning topic.

But, for sure, if such scripts are impacted by the lastest craze of BI devs, that means plenty of works for scripters.
