Game looks like 64-bit version of ARMA 3

Recommended Posts

This problem started hapenning a week or 2 ago. Basically my game looks like a crossover between a ps2 and a 64bit game.

I'll put a link to picture below.

I had the same problem with my old pc which was running a GTX750ti, but I recently build my own pc which has:
16GB of ram
Gtx 1060 with 6GB of Vram
AMD Ryzen 5 1600 six core processor
16GB of ram
Yet my game still has the same problem, does anyone have a clue what could cause the problem. We are running our modset through Arma3Sync, I've read online that disabeling malloc works but this did not solve the issue.

you need to post more information (used mods/parameters etc)

first thing to to try, remove all mods/magical launch parameters... start game, goto editor, place stuff, try to reproduce.

Hey everyone,
I'm a friend of Arch. Just one thing:

I kinda expected that Mods would be the first option (which I understand). However, I can only tell you, that we all are running the same mods (hosted on our server) and no one but him has this issue. (And I would be surprised if its a falsely downloaded mod since he had it on another PC as well)
One thing that catches my eye though (didn't know before) is that he the CPU Count Parameter to 8...even though when he only has 6 Cores. I informed him about that already.

leave the mods enabled, switch to arma64.exe, DISABLE all "magical" (useless...) parameters, -noSplash is ok.

That stuff just doesn't make any sense. You launch 32bit Arma with the 64bit Memory Allocator and limit your game to 2GB of memory although you have 16 available.

Remove max memory, cpucount and Malloc start parameters. And launch 64bit Arma. noPause/noSplash/world=empty are still nice to have and don't hurt.

or, don't use any launch params.... except -nosplash with the 64exe.

may have to delete the armaprofile to start clean....
