you should ask the faces of war people how they did their shotgun configs, specifically for the ithaca 37. somehow they've made it so that you can load shells in individually and cancel reloading at any time similar to many other games. for instance if you're out of ammo you can choose to load just a single shell in the tube and then fire. it makes those weapons feel a lot more solid and in-line with their real life counterparts.

Any news on working on fixing those weapon sound issues? (last time I played at least you couldn't hear gun sounds if you were a rather short distance away, a bug that appeared on all mods with custom weapon sounds after the sound update a while ago).

Did some complex testing on a dedicated server. Took me a bit to figure out the way it works. Nothing to worry about in the end, it's a pretty unbreakable tool.

@canadian1337 is it used by sling loading? I wonder bc idk if thats the proper way bc it has flipped above my helo before when flying, no damage, but it looks a bit awkward

yes you slingload it. it may need more mass. i designed it as a trial object

ADDED FEATURES:

1. New damage model, sounds, glass materials, virtual garage and ejection system added to some aircraft (F100, A1, A7, A4)

2. New pylon system added to some aircraft (F100, A1, A7, A4, O2)

3. New dynamic arming system added to those planes - park a truck or ammo crate within 30m of plane to activate

4. Added new improvements to Da Krong, Doung and Khe Sanh maps including Lang Troi Road (Lang Vei SF Camp area)

5. Updated clutter and lighting on Dong Ha map (Steve)

6. Reinstated ponds on all older maps

KNOWN ISSUES:

1. Radar seeking missiles do not work.

2. O2 elevator sensitivity needs adjusting at lower speeds

3. crewanims for standing gunners on PBR, ch53, H21

4. need distance lods and section optimisation for all planes

5. need to add damage model, ejection and weapon pylons for mig21, f105, f111, f4, a6

6. Zeus BLUFOR US Armor list, Men (6th Transportation Battalion), Some Cars and SPGs/Mortar Carriers go missing. The Temporary fix is placing a M113 in the mission via Editor for all things missing to reappear.

7.T-54 and OT-55 Tanks have Crew visible in First Person vision sitting/standing outside of the tank despite not being turned out.

8. PBR radar doesn't seem to work

I just gotta say thank you for the fantastic mod - what a supreme piece of work this is, just loving it.  Very immersive and cool!  The many new features are just a huge bonus, not to mention the added Unsung radio is really a nice feature, I just need to figure out how to turn the volume up/down in game. 

 

The only thing is for a SP player like myself, there is little to no campaigns, so I created two Alive dynamic campaigns on the Da Krong and Prei Khmaoch maps and after days of tweaking, it's running very well and very intense.  Not published, just wanted to say how excellent this mod is, and with an Alive campaigns, it's just what I've been looking for to fill the Vietnam cravings. 

 

Thanks Eggbeast and other guys involved!  Just a huge thanks to you all (my wife may beg to differ, but we just got back from Nice France, so I have gaming credit for a bit).
