nikoaton static animations for photography

Recommended Posts

awesome - simply outstanding animations. really well done man

probably hard to do with all that chest rig, but a proper firemans carry has the arm held also, to stop the guy falling off, and the carried guy has his back hand pressing in the carriers lower spine - if they do it the RM way that is lol. the carrier would usually be a little more bent to create a shelf for the carried guy. the guy below is doin great (til they shout GRENADE)

Where are those helmets from? (also - some GREAT stuff there - those briefing shots are brilliant. I'm going to have a bunch of technical questions for you! :D )

Wow! Some awesome stuff there! Love the briefing ones-and more taking cover poses.

Some ideas-

Some door opening poses, door handle gripping or pushing a door,
Maybe one of a kneeling guy beckoning with his hand-like urging someone to run to cover, or run to a helo etc. Cant describe it well..Like a guy kneeling in an alley waving someone towards him-telling him to run across.

Also, what about mantling over walls?

For the one of the guy drinking, did you attach the bottle to him or what?

How about some unorthodox overhead AK action for a laugh, I can't get any reference coz on cellphone but there's some great reference images online.. come to think of it I've seen footage of marines using the same method.

Also how about more poses of moving through battle, like peeking, crouched running, evading sniper type movement to more sprinting under fire.

You can pretty much just position the object where you guess the character's hands are going to be when the animation plays. It's very time consuming to get it right, however.
