Arma 3: Community wishes & ideas- NO DISCUSSION

I would really like to see several more jets inlcuded into the game, just the L39 and F-35 doesn't really satisfy me being an aviation geek. I would suggest inlcuding the following:

At Least (in addition to current AC (ALCA and F35):

IL-476 (or another russian future cargo aircraft)

C-17

Preferably:

SU-30 (Fighter)

IL-78 (tanker)

A Cessna/Jabiru or some kind of modern General Aviation Aircraft.

A small sized cargo A/C. (Beechcraft size)

I know there will be hundreds of mods but they are never the same as when Bohemia does it, Thanks for considering this, These are all the AC I could wish for, no more. But I would love to see at least those top ones.

I suggest/wish (kept simple)...:

...a better, more realistic medical treating/wounding system. That means more blood/gore and a graphic, violent content (which can be disabled for sensitive players). It's a big part of war! So it have to be in that game.

It's the wish of many players, supporters and members of an army or realistic gaming experience!

BIS, its time to release a user-friendly tool for everyone where everyone can easly learn and making his own terrain!

we have visitor for arma 1, we have visitor for arma 2, now its time for a new friendly tool!

why not release something similar like this ?

The ability to directly give someone inventory items without a backpack.

Having a machinegunner look away from a target to get more ammo is bad.

I suggest adding the ability to open up a units inventory while looking at them and be able to put things in it.

Without the need for a backpack.

This way when a unit says he's getting low on ammo, you just go over to him and drop some ammo into his inventory.

Please add the old tank commanding system from ARMA CWA/OFP CWC back into ARMA III. Tank commanding in ARMA II felt really bad and hard to get the hang of, while OFP had it simple and it made you feel like you're actually commanding the tank. In OFP we had this little white transparent square which we could use to mark targets and moving positions with straight on the terrain, without having to use the map. Not to mention that OFP also had an actual kick-ass tank interrior that was missing from ARMA II. Please add those features back so tank battles can actually feel alive again.

I would like to see the ability to swap between weapons while moving. It is amazing that this is not already an ability. No soldier in real life needs to come to a complete halt in order to change between a primary and secondary.

The idea is ... You are aware ...

There are several related problems. This triangle of problem "body armor" - "System wounds" - "treatment system" should not be allowed separately.

Half-measures - are ineffective. What would remain special ARMA - you need to resolve the issues. On this basis the need to build a DLC or ARMA4. It is also long overdue questions: bipod, disposable rocket launchers, etc. I would like to hear "in ARMA done better!" Instead of "In the Red Orchestra better" or "BF is implemented and it is better." You will not surprise anyone new guns, tanks, islands.

Need to spend resources on new opportunities within the ideology. To sell something that is well done. I wish you to do good "tactical military shooter".

Since arma 2 ive always wanted a typhoon euro fighter as they are one of the most advanced jets in the world... if Bohemia are planning on making this become possible does anyone know if they are willing to make the aircraft systems operational for example: Brake chutes, actually alarms for incoming missiles and a usable ir camera on board to lock on the targets thousands of meters in the air. at the moments with arma 2/ arma 2 oa you are not able to use the onboard camera to target enemies this makes jets ineffective from long ranges were if you added this features you could take your enemies down from miles above the clouds without them even noticing you were there...

BTW i not talking about the rskl mod for arma 2 i want Bohemia interactive to make their own as they have tools to do anything with there game there so they can make the aircraft more detailed and realistic as possible.

I would like to see more consistency with regard to the date of the setting. Seeing as 2035 was decided upon, there should be consistency of equipment for this time period. I feel this was one of the main reasons underlying the anxiety many players had about the future setting... they just couldn't imagine what that would look like and were afraid that modern designs would be over-represented. For example, the various AR-15 designs are going to be ported over by the community, despite the original design being 75 years old by 2035. Thus new rifle designs were always going to be required. It may be easy to extrapolate from the past to come up with a single weapon, but to apply the same design requirements to everything in the game was always going to be a huge challenge. Thus we see unmodified real-world content creeping back in as the default option. While this may be OK in small doses (for eg. the Tavor looks appropriate to the setting and has a certain wow-factor in public perception at the moment) seeing antiquated pieces of technology lumbering around amidst the high tech stuff detracts from the overall visual impact of the game. This is particularly noticeable with content that has been more or less ported from Arma 2, for example the MH-6 inspired MH-9. This design originated in the 1960s, around the same time as the AR-15. And yet it is probably going to be one of the airframes that receives the most focus (due to its ease of use). We can see that already in Dsylecxi's videos.

In short, content like the MH-9 can safely be left up to the community to port over or improve. One goal of Arma 3 post release development should be on delivering a full suite of equipment appropriate to the context, 2035. This might include designs based off the UH-72 in the helicopter example.

I notice that the poll on post-release DLC did not provide the opportunity to vote for such an option. Nevertheless, I think it is important to ensure the consistent appearance of Arma 3 equipment designs, and to avoid appearing to simply port official content from Arma 2 across as much as possible.

Hi guys, here is few things which I really missing in ARMA 2, so will be nice if you can include in ARMA 3.

Ability to select where you want seat in vehicle.

Ability to shooting from inside the vehicle through open window or door.

Ability to select side to get out from vehicle, for example get out right or get out left.

-Game engine.

When approaching storm far off in the distance and flash of lightning, the atmosphere is great. But if after a lightning strike, depending on the distance of the storm (lightning far away, the sound with a delay of a few seconds is soft, long and quiet, if lightning is close immediate and dramatic sound) was a clap of thunder that it was amazing.

Top priority for the artists now are two Close Air Support fixed-wing beasts, one for both primary factions.

This is going to be one of the community's last chances to get an input on the content of the game until BIS mentions any other new content being developed. Anything in the giant wishlist thread, if it hasn't been specifically mentioned by the devs, it's not going to happen. From now up until release they'll only be debugging assets that already exist.

So before the artists get too far ahead with their work let them know which two aircraft you'd like to see.

For me, there are obvious ways to narrow it down. They have to be CAS roles first, dog-fighters second. One has to have distinctly Western design, the other Warsaw Pact or even some of the less common prototype European units, and in general bigger and more powerful than AAN's Buzzard. I'd much rather see something brand-new than a future version of a unit we've already seen in past Arma games, though this is unlikely as it's much easier to model something you've done before and got all the reference materials.

I choose for NATO:

Either the Rafale or an original daring hybrid of existing US jets like they pulled off with the Mi-48 (No F22/F35 design input as their airframes are so boring to look at).

Surely aircraft can fly subsonic if they want to? Like, to reach trans/supersonic you have to be subsonic so...

The F35 is supersonic and worked fine. Very hard to find a CAS plane that isn't supersonic. Players can always decelerate.

Dificulty type

Exclude mission "name/names"

also alow the browser to show or filter the settings in Dificultys

3rd on/off

How about a futuristic mixture of a YF-23 and an A-10, I think that would be pretty damn cool...almost definitely wouldn't be subsonic though:icon_rolleyes: I would also like to see the AAF getting their own MBT, Leopard 2 PSO or a7. No idea on an CSAT bird, maybe an PAK FA ground attack variant? Just my 2 cents.

I really want to see more weapons for infantry. I always loved playing with all the weapons available in ARMA 2. I miss weapons like Mk16 (SCAR) and M4.
