BlackScorpion 0 Posted October 29, 2005 Hmmm... The Benelli sounds interesting, especially due it's easyness and cheapness, because there are no batteries or such needed. I heard that the stock version is a bit long and that the pump is a bit heavy to operate, but with bit of practise those 3-bursts will become very "deadly". Is the pump heavy? And any experience of how well does Tigerstripe blend in to Finnish landscape? And anyone know where to get cheap and real Russian uniforms in Tampere? Cheers. oyman 0 Posted October 29, 2005 The stock version of the m3 may be a little long, but it feels very powerful in your hands . Dont really like how to non stock version looks... theavonlady 2 Posted October 30, 2005 My husband took all the kids to play paintball for the first time 2 weeks ago. His knee is still killing him from diving onto the gravel to take cover at some point. There were another 6 people there and the owner decided to mix and match my family and the others. My 2 youngest were below age but they got to target practice, standing, crouching and prone. Most of the family came back with a welt or 2. I stayed home and cooked. Maybe next time. Maybe not. Saw a nice tuned TM AUG on sale, red dot sights, 3 point carrying sling, Systema M150 tuning kit insides, M135 spring capable of delivering enormous 2.25 joules I think , accuracy barrel, 10.6V 1600 mAh battery and 5 magazines. I calculated that this kit would cost over 800 euros to make, so no hope buing it under 500 €. Nice gun anyways. Anyways, where'd you find those Russian uniforms, FW200? Cheers. Necromancer- 0 Posted October 30, 2005 I'd get a full normal AEG, they will last you a long time and you can throw down BB's at a decent range, even when left stock Ditto... Shotguns are in my opinion very unversatile combat weapons in airsoft.. They lack firepower when needed. If I had a shotgun instead of an AEG yesterday... I would have been hit in the first minute of the game. We were trenched in some kind of dried up channel and were expecting a full-force attack. We were with about 12-14 men, against 22 others. The ambush would have gone well... if one new guy in civilian clothing wasn't so trigger happy with his blow-back gas pistol (one of the most loudest guns u can get). It was a nice kill though. Few minutes later we saw them flanking from the left AND from the right. We had to spread out our wield of fire, resulting in relatively less firepower per yield, thus giving the opponents the chance to punch through. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Cheers. Of course shotguns are cost effective... But only in the beginning. When a shotguns starts to wear out, there are no parts available to replace the worn out parts. I think there are a few occasions, but you will most likely need to import them from Hong Kong. Besides, most shotguns are made of plastic, which is less resistant to torsion. ICS, G&P, G&G and Classic Army AEG's are all made of metal. I've only read 1 or 2 reports of broken receiver parts due to torsion. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

But, about the age limit thing, isn't it possible that you get some adult to buy you a gun? I mean, here in Finland, it's legal to buy a gun if you have your parents' permission. I could do that, but I don't wanna get into trouble....I can file a request a permission to own an AEG from the local police if I want to, since I'm 16, that's allowed, but that would require me to join a NASF (the airsoft organization here in Norway) certified club....and in-game I'd have to bring an adult/observer with me....annoying. I'd rather wait until I'm 18 to play here in Norway. I'm going back to the Philippines (hopefully) for a vacation next year, and I'll continue playing there. My friend there is taking care of my M733 rifle, so that won't be a problem. Imitating some Norwegian unit could be great fun as well - cheaper equipment more suitable for chilly Nordic battlefield, possibility to use any M4 clone (I think Norwegian army uses Diemacos, but not sure...). I am in the unit/team reenacting Czech army contemporary infantry recon squad, and we soon found out that being a "grunt" gives you much more fun than imitating any special-warfare unit. @BlackScorpion: If you wanna "play" seriously, save your money and buy yourself an AEG - most versatile and powerful, accurate and with most advantages. But IMHO gun is not what makes you an airsofter - proper uniform, equipment (if we speak about hardware), knowledge and experience are far more important. Depends a lot on what you expect from it... US SF, because Norwegian army gear is so expensive.... Plus, those pictures were taken in the Philippines, kinda hard to get Norwegian camo unless I import it from Norway. Most players there like to have US get-ups.... The Norwegians don't use the Diemaco yet, it's still one of the candidates that will replace the AG-3 (Norwegian G3). The problem is that airsoft is not internationally represented such as paintball (no international organisation excists), thus making it nearly impossible to legalize airsoft in such countries/states. Edge 2 Posted November 3, 2005 @Placebo: Regarding your shooting at MOPIC - rule of thumb is not to shoot people aiming cameras or weapons with range bigger than your own. How about making trip to north Bohemia to attend some of our weekend sessions? We make lots of scenarios which are very beginner-friendly - the brains and skills count more than overpowered AEGs... Last time we tried "military patrolling game" - eight 4-8-men teams hunting points (and each other) by visiting checkpoints in unused industrial plant and forest near Teplice.
