There seems to be a bug in the Face-wear randomisation script for civilians:

Sometimes when placing a civilian unit it will be equipped with G_Respirator_Base_F, which shows up as a Aviator Glasses Icon and labelled 'None'.

It has no model on the character, however displays what I believe is the Shadow LOD of the Respirator face-mask.

Best way to reproduce is to place down multiple entries of the Civilian Paramedic Unit.

That's intentional? It's using a sticker on the window that lets light through, but not out again. They are common on vans, buses (adverts usually) and ambulances.

 

EDIT: Nevermind, just read the bug report and this wasn't the IDAP ambulance ...

Regarding the Van:


- the light of orange beacons tend to turn blue at farther distances
- this was perhaps requested before, but it'd be great if both blue and orange beacons would be available on all variants, like with the Offroad

Stretcher`s  Give us ability on them to dissasemble them and assemble them and lay in them or place somebody in them.

Body bag same like stretcher`s  make them inventory stuff and ability to pack a dead boddy in them.

First Aid box(Open) Please please can it be spawned next to the medic when he is treating people and Litter also if you treat somebody it leaves litter around him.(just like in ACE)

Can we get a Emergency Blankets(thermal) and regular blankets like (backpack item Ref. Picture) and we can give them to civilians to cover them.

I'd love to see stretchers especially as I have fond mischievous memories of Arma 2 ACE. I don't even know why it hasn't been added in ACE 3. Although I like what you've showcased so far but would hope to god you add a decent interaction system with a stretcher that can be used by medical teams in the field!

Not sure if something like this could be added at this stage of development, but I think the Gendarmerie deserve a livery for the new vans, no?

I noticed that the Air conditioner units are not producing any sound. Would be nice if they would.

 

Btw: Those new static objects are awesome, they add alot more to the game than one might think.

On a rather general note: Will there be a possibility to create your own skins of the vans? Because they sure do offer a lot of reskinning potential!

There are plans for a template to be released :)

 

Gendarmerie livery is also under consideration.

Any chance a dev could throw up the texture paths for some of these objects used in the campaign?, or perhaps have them place-able assets in the editor?

Ehm, will a police vehicle be included in this DLC?

Just a simple patrol vehicle with police "written" on it. If not please add one. The off-road police version alone is not enough :unhappy:

 

It would remove mission addon dependencies in police missions :thumbs-up:

Oh and a police helicopter skin too. The sheriff variant ... you got to know its the sheriff one. It does not show "Police" anywhere.

are you sure? just tested it on devbranch and all of them produced sound although I think their volume could be indeed turned up.
