Skill Tree Adjustment Suggestion

Recommended Posts

Ok.  Let me explain then give my suggestion.

Argo has presented the skill tree as a dedicated single class option (MG, Assault or Sniper) or the possibility of multi classing.

Dedicated assault (Mk 18) or dedicated sniper are the best.  Period.

Multi-classing not only forces you to have significantly weaker weapons, but also no armor.  Plus, if you even try to use say a higher level assault role with even the first level of MG added for "fun" when you get bored... you are practically forced to NOT select silencer for the lower end weapons... which makes you all the more a target on an already weak build.  Multi-classing just does not work.  It is NOT competitive.

Possible adjustments for this would be to separate the skill points applied to the scope + silencer tree into a separate category from guns.  Have it built up in a chain like guns with initial access starting at red dots... next to more higher & higher powered scopes.  The point balance can be such that you can get BOTH medium range scopes and medium level silencers, but NOT both long range scopes and high end silencers.

This would allow multi classing with weaker weapons to have scopes and silencers, while making dedicated classes choose either best scope OR best silencer.  Not both together.  This would balance the game out a little and slow down the dedicated silent sniping.

Guns  Grenades & Armor in one section.  Scopes & Silencers in another section.

The best gun is Spar16 LMG !

And doing it like you say , with max 25 points, would really cripple the point of getting lvl 25 !

With separate trees, there would have to be separate points for the two trees.

Guns, Grenades & Armor in one section.  Scopes & Silencers in another section.

Anyway.  Something needs to be done to make multi-classing more competitive with dedicated classes.  As it is... you really get handicapped because you end up picking lower level items, cannot share the same scopes and silencers among weapons (having to spread out yet more points that are already split between different weapons), etc.
