But When I download from Steam Workshop the folder name contains correct thai formatting.

Is there a way to solve this? Or is my PC missing thai fonts?

NEW RELEASE - V1.3

 

Major Feature Additions and Small Fixes

 

This version is the full release of 1.3 bringing the ability to launch server from the app. It allows multiple server profiles and multiple servers to be running from the same game files. Full feature list below:

  • Added - Launch Servers
  • Added - Launch up to 3 Headless Clients
  • Added - Copy mod names to clipboard.
  • Fixed - Steam Guard handling.
  • Fixed - #32 #31 #30 #24 #25 #22 #20 #19 #5 #15 #3 #13 (see GitHub issues)

 

Known Issues

 

There are a few known issues most of which I plan to have fixed in 1.4 :

  • Large updates on slow connection time out (Steam Issue).
  • Mods saying updated even if skipped.
  • Server Profile mod sort order not saved.
  • I haven't been able to test all server config options - if they are broke let me know and I'll fix.

New update looks and works great!!  Posted about a minor issue with Extra Parameters in you GitHub issues..

 

I have a question about the Headless Client settings.  My headless client runs on a separate machine from the server machine so I need this entry in the name_config.cfg file that FAST creates..

 

headlessClients[]={192.168.1.125};

 

Now your program adds that entry like it should when I check the "Enable HC" checkbox but it will also try to startup a headless client on the server machine.  Is there a way to have that line added to the config.cfg without starting a headless client on the server machine?

Sure, I hadn't thought about non local HCs. Will make try and get it in the v1.3.1 hotfix for Friday.

Don't forget about the difficulty settings that have 3 options...

@eric963 Thanks for all the feedback, would you mind putting it all in the Git issues in future to save the thread from spam? To answer your questions:

 

  1. No - button should have been disabled in this release. 
  2. Will change and put in hotfix.
  3. Not sure about that would need to look into it.

I just tried this mod for another reason, trying to see if it will help update my subscribed steam mods because ARMA 3 Launcher is acting up, but I noticed it does NOT load my ARMA 3 Launcher profiles.

 

Or it does, but does not populate the list of mods to be checked for updating.

 

A request - can we set this to use the default ARMA game installation? Because some of us play coop and MP hosting on our own machines and this looks like it easier to use than setting up a local dedicated server by scripting. We don't need to download steam dedicated server. We have the files. 

 

We just need to be able to setup a server on the same machine easily.

Sorry, this was just built with dedicated servers in mind - you could still use it to launch a server on your PC too but it would just be easier to do it from in game.

@Flax apparently this error started after a steam update. On the day the program was updated, both the previous version and the new one worked.

Hello Flax,

 

First of all, you have brought the Arma server community a great tool here and thank you for that.

 

Other the issue mentioned above, I noticed that when mods are downloaded (this was the same in 1.3 beta) they do not appear in the mods list on the server setup area (local mods in arma 3 root folder such as @AliveServer do though). Is this on my end, do i need to move them manually and rename them or are they meant to display once downloaded?

Hey guys, just had a look - not sure how this error slipped past as it seems to always happen on launch in latest build. Will fix tonight and re-release.

No worries. I can still point it to my ARMA 3 folder and have it updated the dedicated server exe and files which are the same as production.

 

Can you add a feature to import the BIS ARMA 3 Launcher *.PRESET2 files in addition to the exported HTML file from the launcher? It would help to setup servers based a few mod presets already.

 

Also add something like OK TO ALL option to deal with:

Errors since I have to click OK or press ENTER for each and every occurrence? This way we can just auto skip that error and let program continue parsing the HTML file and the add back manually added mods later.

Sure I'll see if i can get some of this in for this week. 

 

This will probably be the last version of 1.x as I want to rebuild the UI completely and refactor a lot of the code. Will start a new GitHub and go for 2.0 after these issues are all fixed.

Hello everyone, I have a way to circumvent the problem that is occurring in the program momentarily:

 

1) Open the flax program normally, the error already reported will appear, click ok in the error window.

The list of MOD's will not appear and the update button also does not work.

 

2) Return to the steamupdate tab and click on the update button to run SteamCMD (this will update and / or check if ArmA is updated).

Wait for the update / validation and at the end, OK.

 

3) Go back to the MOD's tab of the program, your MOD's will not yet appear, but the button to add link MOD's workshop became available. Locate any Workshop MOD (preferably not repeated and add it).

Ready your list should appear again and you can manipulate any MOD of the listing.

@Flax Thanks, although I had tried to roll back, I still got the same error with the mod list reported above. I am using a previous version and applied the workaround for now.
