Arma 3 VRAM leak

Recommended Posts

So I just wanted to record fps test video BUT then I noticed VRAM usage - 10080MB!!! 10GB VRAM! What, actually, the hell? O.O

Here in video: MEM: VRAM_usage;  VRAM frequency

And graph (green color) - Memore Usage

I don't think mods can do that... so it's arma engine bug or what?

Never noticed that bug before...

Playing 1440p. ultra (all ultra) PC config in signature

P.S. Sry for my English.

No one knows? =(

Try reproducing the issue without any mods.

Also which branch are you on? Dev? Standard?

Finally, are you using any startup parameters?

You show us RAM usage, not VRAM. 10 Gb RAM usage is completely normal for ARMA.

Ok, i'll try.

Stable, standart.
Yes, but nothing with mem\ram and etc: skip logo, skip loading map in menu, enable HTT

Ok, I watched video more closely. But I didn't see any VRAM leak, your VRAM usage is almost constant the whole video. It's so high because you have 12k view distance. I don't see why it is a problem if VRAM is being used for its intended purpose.

It's normal with 64-bit. I can get the game use 7GB of the 8GB available since the 64-bit was introduced.
