mattis 147 Posted October 16, 2020 The 4th Marine Raider Battalion arrived in new AO as part of Operation Prime Trend, with orders to support other USSOCOM teams, intel operators, Afghan Army and security forces in Anijay District of Helmand Province. Watch our first mission as we start intelligence and combat operations to counter the resurgence of Al Qaeda in this area, with the support of the local Taliban. Displaced ISIS leaders and fighters who have moved into this area and are also trying to expand their control and influence. Marine Special Operation Team (MSOT) 8410 pushed further into the TAOR where ISIS fighters were building defenses and appeared to be settling in to stay awhile.
