I already had some knowledge in Blender, because I worked with it on some 3D models. I installed all Blender plugins from Marcser (he made a basic guide how to make static animations) and Alwarren. After done the first animations, I exported them as .rtm file and pack them with Arma3 dev tools (just addon builder no P drive required). KokaKolaA3 helped me with the config.

 

Short version all you need is:

and a config

Hi folks,

the poll, in the W.I.P, just ended. You guys voted for Close Quarter Combat poses, so the next update will focus on that.

 

For now I will just leave a small teaser. The scene might be familiar because it based on a film.

He stated in the WIP thread pre-release he wont add any political based poses

Hey guys,

 

just a another really small update. I finished all non Close Quarter Combat for the next update. The next days I will start to work on CQC poses!

 

I decided to put 2 main marching poses (with some variants of it) in the update aswell! One pose (with variants(slightly different foot and hand positions, so it doesn´t look to monotonous)) you can see in the following screen.

Thanks for the suggestion. A few of the melee once will make it into the update I think.

 

As for the pistol/ grenade throw animation they won´t made in in any form soon into the mod. The problem is that static animations (as far as I know) can´t call certain types of weapons. They only have bones for the main weapon and the launcher. I made one pistol animation but you need a Pistol as prop item in the editor and align it to the animations afterwards. This make both unnecessary hard to use and to test the animation. Unfortunately the same goes for grenades.

No problem mate, glad to see that you appreciated.
About the pistol/grenade animations, I figured it would be difficult but I'm happy to see that you didn't discard completely the idea. I'll post some more pictures if I find intresting poses around the interweb! :hehe:

@jezaPistol alignment is just awful in the editor, when you can´t see the animation "live" in the editor.
