In need of a life mission file.

Me and my friends have decided to create an altis life/life community server. We have created a teamspeak, website/fourm and gameserver and hosted all of it. We realized that creating a custom mission file would be a very long process as we are not that experienced so it would take us along time. We are looking to see if anyone can help us by providing us with an existing mission file that we are able to use (Not just downloaded from a server) or is able to make us a mission file. We are also willing to pay depending on what it is ;). Preferably altis or a custom map.

Please take a moment to consider, this could be a good way to start learning for yourself.

I think that's a nice idea but I am already paying for a webhost, teamspeak and server host as I am not hosting it myself so I need to get a mission file done asap

Okay, think about it like this. Get a solid base of a mission prepared, and ready to test at least (regardless of who is making it). Then get your payed hosting up, then you are getting every ounce of content playable for each month you are paying for these hosts. Just a thought..

I don't understand why people attempt to run before they can walk. Who, in their right mind, would pay for hosting before they even have a mission file? This proves how little thought has gone into your project.

I think they thought they can just screw a bit around on the mission file to get their needed features in a mission.

But mission designing is more than working with a CMS.

We only want a bare bone structure of what it would be. Essentially the tonic public mission file but without exploits such as when you can withdraw money you don't have, and then we are going to develop it as we are running it

Okay, fine. So be it. You've posted this in the wrong part of the forums and you need to start one in the correct place.

But here is something to think about:

What is different between yours and Tonics?

Will it be so similar that Tonic can pose the idea that maybe you stole some key aspects of his concepts.

hey, i wish you and your friends well and all the best, but i think you're going about it incorrectly.

 

 

I would advise to cancel your payments and just enjoy arma on an already-established server. there is a tremendous amount of time and effort that goes into building a fun mission file on a stable and enjoyable community server. Many servers also don't share their mission files anymore, so it will be hard for you to get where you want to go.

I guess you have lots of money to throw around if you first buy a server and then start looking for developer to put content on it. Normally people develop something and when it is ready, only then they commit themselves to monthly rental.
