someone to flood clafghan water level about 100-200 meters to allow:- nimitz on to it, get rid of the black lines that a3mp-ap are causing and make it standalone, its our clan fave but having to have everything else like cherno sucks and too big a download

Not going to happen,

the black lines arent caused by a3mp anyway, its caused by how the ponds are rendered.

As far as we know that cannot be fixed.

And the map has not been allowed for modifcations by the author, so people cant just flood it and make it standalone.

if you want an Afghanistan map, wait for Jalalabad (Which will probably take a very long time) but will be a great big afghanistan map and will be totally standalone.

as for standalone, i butchered it today, by taking the a3mp-ap fix relating to clafghan mashing it into one folder with clafghan, it works just alot of error messages and missing objects :) but what i have found is clafghan and a few other A2 maps play much better in A3 engine, alot higher fps so i can push out my view distance to fly, but in doing this i figured the black lines was impossible to fix :( but it really is a shame not to open these "older" maps out to the community to let them all play. we used to flood gazala on bf1942 and it transformed it totally.

Addon request for addon that will make smoke less dense, with less particles, lesser quality, anything to nerf it. It is just joke that few smoke grenades can drop my frames like hell (about 50FPS drop from 5 grenades saw at 100m-200m away).

Armenian Army Addon

Just infantry and Special Forces I believe would be necessary, but the content creator could go farther if he/she wishes. (Could retexture AAF models?)

I tried searching here and there in the Forum but did not find anything similar, so far.

So, basically I'd like to see CSAT/Opfor Manpads for specialists, to have something different from Titan AA.

Something like SA-24 Grinch, maybe?

I should start working on textures again, maybe :)

So with all the execellent things like the Nimitz and fa-18's, ship and the sweet diving feature of ArmA III, I am desperate for some great Naval Missions.

What I can't do is Terrain builder, I have some kind of mental block on it!

I have used A3MP to play this map which is "almost" perfect

The main problem is the lightbox, and not treally being able to see the hud of the f18. Other than that the size and depth of water is brilliant.

If there is a capable and willing terrain builder who can

* Create a ARMA3 version of the above map

* Add two very small, low detail island/runways in opposing corners of the map for place larger planes like c130 etc

* thats it!

I would take the time to try and get .pew files etc and try and do this but every attempt I have to tried relating to editing terrain has failed, I will just stick to mission editing and scripting etc

The crucial and desperate need for such a type of terrain or lack of it, is for flyboys and arma on lower spec systems you need higher draw and viewdistances to operate in air properly, so it is key that it keeps those fps up high

Suggestion:

M119 howitzer, which is interactive when it comes to reloading. i.e, When it has been fired, one man needs to eject cartridge, another man needs to load a new shell, someone needs to close the breach...

Just a thought...

I would like to see this in ArmA 3 because it would be great for sniping missions and counter sniping missions also is Lore friendly cause is the updated version of AWM and looks futuristic enough to be in the British MOD.

Information:

The Accuracy International AX338 long range rifle series was designed for long, high-powered super magnum cartridges and was unveiled in January 2010 at the SHOT Show tradeshow. It is a major design evolution based on the AWM variant of the AW series and its development was according to Accuracy International partly driven by a Precision Sniper Rifle (PSR) U.S. Special Operations Command solicitation.[16] The PSR contract was awarded in 2013 to Remington Arms for their Modular Sniper Rifle.[17]

The AX 338 rifle is chambered for the .338 Lapua Magnum round and features parts that dimensionally or otherwise are not interchangeable with the AW rifle series.[18] The AX338 was designed as a modular multi-calibre rifle, meaning it can be user changed from .338 Lapua Magnum to .300 Winchester Magnum and 7.62x51mm NATO by exchanging bolts, magazines and barrels.

Compared to the AWM, the bolt action of the AX338 is longer and wider and the internal magazine is lengthened, allowing the unimpaired use of .338 Lapua Magnum cartridges loaded to the C.I.P. (Permanent International Commission for the Proof of Firearms Portable) maximum allowed overall length of 93.50 mm (3.681 in).

The AX338 bolt is 22 mm (0.87 in) in diameter and the bolt, bolt head, locking ring and barrel tenon construction were designed to be significantly stronger and more capable of handling higher chamber pressures and temperatures and thus higher bolt thrust safely compared to the AWM variant. The bolt construction is significantly revised, allowing removal of the bolt head from the bolt body with simple hand tools. Cartridge/calibre changes can be accomplished by the change of a bolt head or complete bolt assembly. The interior of the bolt has a new safety feature added that will prevent the rifle from firing on a partially closed bolt. An improved leaf-spring AW 7.62 style extractor should enhance the cycling reliability of the bolt action. This extractor can be removed and reinstalled with the help of a bullet tip. The top of the receiver features a MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny rail for mounting aiming optics. As an option this rail can be provided with a forward canted angle optimized for extreme long range shooting. The diameter of the barrel threading was enlarged and is unique to the AX 338. The rifle is fitted with a 27 in (686 mm) long .338 in (8.6 mm) calibre free floating fluted barrel as standard. The AX338 has a non conventional 238 mm (1:9.375 in) twist rate to adequately stabilize longer, heavier .338 calibre very-low-drag projectile designs that became more common in the 21st century. Other barrel lengths, calibres and twist rates are available as options. The two-stage trigger has a new trigger shoe that can be moved for and rearwards by 0.5 in (13 mm) and has a 3.3 to 4.4 lbf (15 to 20 N) adjustable trigger pull. The AX338 uses new 10-round double stacked .338 Lapua Magnum steel magazines that are inserted into a revised magazine well.[19][20]

Further the AX338 features a revised external chassis stock system with an octagonal shaped fore end which envelops the free floating barrel offering modular attachment points for user (re)movable MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny accessory rails on four sides. Several lengths of octagonal shaped fore end and Picatinny accessory rails are available as options. The rear of the stock can be either a thumbhole or a pistol grip configuration and has a butt spike as standard. The minimal possible length of pull was reduced compared to the AICS stocks to facilitate usage when wearing thick clothing or body armor. The stock has a left-right and height adjustable cheekpiece as standard or can be fitted with an optional quick adjustable cheekpiece. The pistol grip can be fitted with backstraps of differing sizes that combined with the movable trigger shoe enables the trigger to be tailored to the individual shooter.[21] An AX AICS stock is planned for Remington 700 short and long bolt action based rifles.[22][23]

The AX series rifle is also available in a smaller 7.62x51mm NATO dedicated AX308 version with a smaller short action with a bolt diameter of 20 mm (0.79 in) and in a larger AX50 .50 BMG version with a bigger extra long action with a bolt diameter of 30 mm (1.2 in).

Also is no much difficult to do due to the bolt and barrel are similar to AWM.

Hello everyone I am [2NT] Pvt. Tristen from 2NT.

I'm currently developing a brand new Realism server for my LT. of 2NT and other members. I think they will really enjoy it and the public will too.

However.

I need your help!

I need somebody to 1. code in and send me a file of the scenario AOWarfare takistan or I need a assistant/helper to help me create this.

Here's the plan I have.

For this new server I'm thinking something so real that it makes you feel like your close to war.

Takistan Insurgency+ a lot of other mods such as the @usaf mod and the chinook mod,MRAP mod, and more. Just a whole lot of mods I tell you! It will add realism to arma 3 in any way with state of the art warfare by special scripting,modding,and building im doing to the map. Civilians wondering around in towns,Animals spotted around towns or sandy mountains,IED's scattered everywhere,suicide bombers,insurgent clothing. SO MUCH! Basically in short words I'm making it as real as Afghanistan. Even modding in different cars for the civilians.

ANYWAYS,

I need someones help!

Virtual Ammobox,Vehicle Spawner,and crazy hard scripting like that. I try and try to find out how to do it but I always fail. Especially on creating a "insurgency" / open world game.

What will you get out of this?

-Name on front "created by" mission idle

-Whitelisted Slot for Pilot (yes to fly you need to be in a pilot slot and most slots will be whitelisted)

-Private Slot (the server is going to get full a lot trust me)

-more rewards will be given after development.

Since there is another Alien game upcoming, i felt like predator was cut out of the deal. Arma3 has given us all the stuff a predator could want, i think this would be a good sp and mp mod.

- Singleplayer for a solatairy predator, collecting heads as goals, and delivering them at the landed spacecraft.

- Multiplayer would be a fox hunt; predators vs marines, with predators being outnumbered and having to return to their spaceship in order to win, wich is the starting location of the marines.

Speaking of diving along with actually being able to dive into water from above instead of feet first, I would like to see some proper buoyancy effects such as with dead bodies and ships. Bodies shouldn't really sink straight to the bottom in the sea unless properly overloaded [a person with hardly any weight on them shouldn't sink in sea water], same with ships. Ships/boats shouldn't instantly sink, but take a bit longer.
