I have tried and failed many times trying to achieve something like this, all without success hence my request.

I simply saved an empty loadout so I can load it whenever I want to clear it. Works perfectly well.

Oh yeah, I'd be up for that mod or mod update @revo:f:

Theres always that sneaky RGO/white smoke or green lightstick in the vest. I end up missing.

A bit of a weird request. Caskets, Coffins and Kafan shrouds (used to wrap the body, used in Islamic funerals) with and without flags of various factions or nations, with or without faces showing. Also bodies underneath rugs, blankets or anything of that nature.

Yep, that's a solution for sure, but the fact you have to do something like that shows a "Clear Loadout" button would bring a much cleaner functionality to the VA.

Sorry if I'm not formatting something or what not correctly. Only got Arma to not be a lag fest on my PC last night, so I'm pretty new.

So I remember this old video where a guy nuked a whole halo base. He had a certain amount of time to run with all the other UNSC AIs to pelicans before the bomb hit the ground a few hundred meters or so away. The moment they got their squads in the pelicans, the ai pilot would lift off and try to get them as far away as possible from the nuke within a few seconds.

 that was the video.

However, the creator never linked anything like that, and no one in the comments of that video ever got a link to it. Does anyone have a link to that specific scene? or can someone at least tell me how to recreate it? Looks like a lot of fun, but since I'm completely new, I wouldn't know how to create it from scratch right now.

Wrong thread (requests), but what you are looking for is the OPTRE (OPERATION:TREBUCHET) mod https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=769440155

I wonder if someone could port the Hind DLC from Take on Helicopter (ToH) to ArmA3 for my Helicopter campaign that focuses on the Mi-24 Hind and Superhind.

I know there are Hind ports from CUP and RHS however while they both have their advantages and disadvantages both of them seem to be ported from ArmA2 rather than ToH. There are also a lot of glitches or missing features with both of them. I wish I could mash the RHS and CUP models together to get the best of both but so far I could not do even a basic port from ToH to ArmA although it seems to be rather easy as some people say.

What I am after are the Hind models with the new features that ArmA3 provides like passenger gunners, Advanced Flight model, RWR, changeable pylon loadouts, sling loading etc. It would be nice to have some progression between the different hind models so that the Mi-24D model has less power than the Mi-24V, better avionics like FLIR, laser etc in newer models and so on.

The campaign I am working on is mostly about flying Hinds and therefore it would be great to have proper models that feel like the right thing. With ArmA3 and mods this is the closest thing to a Hind helicopter semi-realistic simulator without becomming too realistic (DCS) or arcade (Air Missions: Hind).

I started doing this campaign in ArmA2, then changed to ToH, then changed to ArmA3 and I have a ton of missions WIP.

I hope someone can help me out here.

Cheers,

kibyde

actually the HINDs in RHS are from both A2 and TOH (AFRF and GREF). RWR, changeable pylon loadouts, sling loading etc is all available.

I know. Unfortunately there are some problems with the RHS models. For example you can't switch through targets for the AI gunner with the "next vehicle" button press (default R). Targets have to be assigned by the menu instead which is extremely cumbersome especially in combat situations and makes the mod almost unusable for singleplayer missions. Then there are other things like the limited view of the AI gunner, terrible aim and no indication where the gunner is aiming at. These problems do not exist in the CUP models however RHS models come with great features that CUP models don't have. Like RWR, holoscopic sight, bench gunners etc.

I did but according to Reyhard a lot of these behaviours is intentional. Like the AI gunners view limitations, or the "next vehicle" behaviour is tied to the way RHS SACLOS missiles work etc. Don't get me wrong. I think RHS and CUP are both great mods that add so much more to ArmA but they have a huge scope from clothing, arms, vehicles, etc. and I understand they can't tweak the models to an individuals specific taste.

Therefore it would be better to have a smaller mod that focuses mainly on the Hind models with some tweaks to make them more suited for the campaign (much like this mod:

. Maybe they can be based on the RHS/CUP models. No need to reinvent the wheel but I don't know if that is possible.

Not really an Addon but i don't know where to request this.

Is there anyone in the forum that can replicate camo patterns? M;y country is going to introduce a new uniform, to me it kinda looks like multicam but with a different color and shape size.

Would anyone be able to do it? If it was paid how much would it cost?

@kerozen if you can get some better pics, maybe one from a full camo uniform or any other miscellaneous equipment, I could try.

Wanted: Cold War Vehicles Mod

Ever since OPFP I've been hooked on making Cold War scenarios but I lack one thing historically accurate vehicles! I've been stuck using UH-60Ms instead of

UH-60A's and M2A2ODS instead of M2s and AH-1Zs instead of AH-1Fs and most horrifying of all using M1A1s instead of M1 or M1IPs. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only guy that gets a annoyed by this so I'm throwing this out there to see if anyone with more talent than myself that can help me and the rest of the community members stricken with the virus that is Cold War nostalgia.

Personally if you were going to create this  mod I'd focus on U.S. vehicles since mods like RHS and CUP cover most Soviet vehicles and Redd and Tank and Gobal Mobilization (when it comes out)  has West and East  Germany covered.

Some vehicles that we could use are:

M1

M1ip

M60A3s

M2 Bradley

LVTP-7 AAV

MIM-72 Chaparral

AH-1s

AH-64a

UH-60As (ESS,Medevac)

OH-58 Kiowa

F-18A

AV-8A

F-15A

Probably a ton more I can't name off the top of my head

*Also all ground vehicles most be doused in a thick coating of MERDC :)

*If it were all possible I would love vehicle interiors but that be up to the mod author

Mods like Unsung and Firewill collection cover a decent amount but hey what's not to like about more vehicles! Feel free to suggest any more vehicles that come to mind that you could see fit perfectly into this setting!

Thanks a ton guys!

Hello how are you?
I see many Mod's but until now I have never seen the AR-10A4 in any mod why?
no interest?
if it is possible and please someone to create the AR-10A4, AR-10A4 Cabine, and etc. I would love to see them in the game and among many other weapons too!

This should be in the addon request thread.

But looking at images of this weapon, it seems like the perfect thing for you to try your hand at making weapons in arma. If you can do it yourself it'll be better satisfaction for you, and more modders is always better :)

anything is possible.... especially if you are willing to get off your ass and do it yourself...... The Arma engine and tools provided by BIS leave us all with a wide open world. Anything you can dream up can be put into this game.

hello, how are you?
Has anyone thought of doing a mod of realistic bullet holes?
the projectile impact marks on the ArmA 2 and 3 is just a black speck, I do not know if they did not want to do it, it would give too much work or I do not know, I just know it looks ugly like this!

it would be nice to do it but I do not trust that I could do something good, and the problem with so many mod creators is the low quality, for example, Scar H of creator X, and Scar H of creator Y being both exactly the same model, same size, manufactured in the same way and with the same material because one is heavier than the other in that no one is correctly right in the empty weight shown on the official website, many do not pay attention to details that make the difference, this includes effect of unnoticed that I have often seen a 5.56 looking like a .50BMG with no recoil, I think some things should be standardized (not everything) like the weight of the empty gun!

Would be great if someone could add more VTOLs to the game besides the Y-32, Blackfish, and Ospreys. If someone could port in the SA-2 Samson and the Scorpion from Avatar that would be great!

For Reference:https://www.bing.com/images/search?view=detailV2&ccid=6dml8w8l&id=2649E2FADB635A4435CE56EE29486699DD8DEDEA&thid=OIP.6dml8w8lCTlCD6o6C8fW0wHaEI&mediaurl=http%3a%2f%2fstatic.planetminecraft.com%2ffiles%2fresource_media%2fscreenshot%2f1338%2fsa2_samson_1_6395923.jpg&exph=284&expw=508&q=sa-2+samson&simid=608024911822521201&selectedIndex=2&ajaxhist=0

If someone could start working on this how much would you be asking? Really want this into Arma!

well then maybe if you tried doing this stuff yourself you would learn to appreciate just how much work goes into each and every thing an addon maker has to put into the game for you. You would stop begging for things and appreciate what you do have a little more and stop using phrases like "low quality". everyone has different opinions on different things. There is no such thing as standardization unless BIS put it in the game for us. Try recommending changes to an addon makers content with some "quality" feedback if you find errors or dont like something.  You expect something to be perfect for you in your liking yet you wont put in the sweat to do it yourself..... sounds like entitlement to me. You need to consider things like maybe the addon maker made the weapon lighter or heavier to work with a specific vest or to counter the stamina system. You could also consider learning to make your own "patch" pbo where you can change things in the config you dont like. Again try something yourself instead of standing around waiting for somebody else to do it for you. That is how this community was built.
