no, but Cold War Rearmed 2 (for Arma 2 Combined Ops) is what you're looking for. hopefully, we'll see CWR3 someday.

I would love to see Resistance redone to fit on Altis

Would it fit do you think ?

was it a codemasters copyright thing that stopped it upto now maybe ?

I would certainly contribute if anyone started that , no need to go mad with the clone , would be better with modern gear and modern story just same mission types :) ?

In a mission involving a special ops team behind enemy lines, a movement speed function is needed that is influenced by 3 variables: food, sleeping bags and overall weight carried.

The food resource lasts the team 3 days. The movement speed slightly declines during the 3 day travel. After that, it will reduce drastically as hunger begins to take its toll. If you have not reached extraction before a certain time, you automatically surrender.

Sleeping Bags

Sleeping bags are also factored into your strength. If you are spotted, you will be forced to drop some of your equipment to make an evasive manoeuvre. This will include sleeping bags. When you have broken away from the enemy contact, you are back to pursuing your objective. Now, your movement speed significantly increases due to a reduction in weight carried. But the cold temperatures in the night will drain you of energy. The movement speed will significantly decline. If you don’t reach extraction by the end of next day, you surrender.

Resource Management

If the team is spotted and forced to drop some equipment, the player will be tested on working out which other items have to go. Some of these are not within his discretion (i.e. radio must be kept).

Lets take a hypothetical example of a team carrying its max limit. Not counting the nutrition factor, speed changes from 5 to 8 at the occurrence of event 1, from 8 to 10 at the occurrence of event 2 and gradually falls from 10 to 5 at the occurrence of event 3.

Event 1: Spotted by hostiles. Team abandons 50% of MG ammo, 33% or 66% of food packs, AT launchers, claymores and sleeping bags. Total weight is reduced by about 35%.

Event 2: After escaping, you may order to drop MGs with rest of heavy ammo, to bring down the total weight by another 25%. So long as the group travels together they evenly distribute the weight they are carrying.

Event 3: Team is affected by low temperatures in the night.

You can already load up the Rafale from Operation Frenchpoint for Arma 2/Operation Arrowhead (their own Web site has the "Air" and "Mod" PBOs downloadable separately from the others, while Armaholic only offers an all-in-one download) and use the "place as Empty, name it, add 'this moveInDriver <placed Rafale's name>' to the character's init field" method, although of course the standard "trying to run Arma 2 mods in Arma 3, with or without All in Arma" disclaimer applies.

LHD's with LCAC. Futuristic-ish, of course. Nothing too contemporary, but enough cosmetic differences to highlight a possible evolutionary path.

We have 2 Islands. What better opportunity to simulate an amphib assault.

Can someone with absolute meticulous skill, make a really nice model of an F-15? But this isn't gonna be your average F-15, since we are dealing with the environment of 2035. But this isn't just any F-15. This is going to be the F-15 S/MTD. It has to be realistic though, because i feel like any aircraft mod that is made for Arma 3 has to fit in perfect, if not almost perfectly.

Some of those have images of the Air Show version or the Test Version. It's gotta have realistic cockpit, with instruments, much like the Ghost Hawk or the A-143 Buzzard. If someone can make a very nice, well put together F-15S/MTD, that would be outstanding.

We need something besides a 1960s trainer jet with unguided rockets, especially on the futuristic battlefields of 2035.

I Like to see an Battlezone mod (it can be ported on wheeled and tracked vehicle)

What I like to see is not a comeback of 3D models but the resource system (Bio-metal) ported to Arma

The game-play of this game was so good.

RTS style in 3D (Base, Turrets, resource search (bio-metal), Tanks, Vehicle factory...)

The best game-play feature is the resource system. (Bio-metal)

You can recycle the bio-metal of the wrecked vehicles.

It can make big reversal of the situation because if your survive to a massive attack on your base, you can recycle wreaked vehicle really quickly so the power change of side.

An other feature is that you can hit vehicle drivers in one shot when you are in infantry (not easy but possible) after that you can steel the vehicle (use it or recycle it.

Is it possible to obtain an helicopter (aircraft) fly-by view, accessible in-game while maintaining control of the helicopter (aircraft) ??

I mean something like the fly-by view provided with lock-on combat simulator etc.

People have made apps for DCS related products so I was wondering if anyone is working on an app that could tie into your install that would possibly display map information?

I think it would be fantastic if I could keep the map up all the time on my tablet pinch and zoom add marks etc. Or see the rear camera in a vehicle or commander's seat optics. So many possibilities.

This could add for some interesting fun, like if I wanted a copilot to mark areas for me to bomb my son (or wife) at home could actually be working the tablet as I fly. It has been terribly annoying flying and having to switch to the map and end up nose diving into the ground.

Also does this have multi monitor support where you can have the map open on another screen? I'm not looking for the 3 screen thing.

I really hope there was an oficial AC-130 gunship, but vtol. Since this is the year 2035 the C-130 would probably have been already decommissioned, so maybe a VTOL Quad tiltrotor could replace it:

1) I would like to see an interior furniture prop mod that would populate interiors of any map. Originally was a comment in the A3 CQB thread but it would be great for everyone to use.

The building interior looks sparse and would be nice for dynamic CBQ engagements to populate it with physics enabled furnishing for more tactical game play. See Rainbow Six series for really good interior design concepts.

Or at least a prop pack for mappers.

2) Just for fun and due to the great A3 engine - Adventure Time World sandbox map complete with building interiors and all known locations. Even more awesome with working props and AI inhabitants! Night of the Candy Kingdom Zombies survival anyone?

Hi guys. Do you know if there is a way that I can set the default firing mode to full auto? I have some small cqb missions in which we play with pdw's and it gets annoying to keep switching from semi to auto everytime we respawn, change weapons ore enter/exit vehicle.
