I have never figured out how to sign stuff properly, feel free to do it yourself if it's needed to run the faction on a server.

Done with all the ' A 'factions, now on to the rest of the alphabet. I may also be releasing some new All In One packs for all my SMA/NIA using factions like I have done previously with my RHS using ones, not sure right now if there would be any interest in that, as the RHS all in one was not very successful numbers wise compared to the individual factions.

Dug up a backup copy of my first faction mod, Epirean Free Militia, and decided to give it a Workshop release.

The "Epirean Free Militia"

Since the initial deployment of the US Army in the Green Sea region for Operation Arrowhead in 2009-2014 drew the majority of Western forces into the Middle East, the situation in Epirus has declined and several warring factions have broken out in the mountainous nation, which has been suffering greatly from the multiple wars that have broken out during the 20th Century as well as mass poverty in the region, compounded by the fall of the massive refugee influxes from areas such as the Donbass, Ukriane, and people fleeing the insurgencies in the Northern Caucasus also contributing to putting pressure on Epirus's already shaky border security.

'The Epirean Free Militia' is one of the largest factions, and have equipment comparable with a third world's standing army, with it's forces split into two distinct groups-

The Militia forces, who have civilian, guerrilla or mixed older weapons and equipment, such as AKM's, AK74SU's and partial camo or civilian clothes with little access to body armor other than some scavenged from killed police units, make up the bulk of EFM ground and infantry forces. Some veteran soldiers act as leaders for the Militia fighters, and they can be identified by their improved equipment and weapons, as well as more common use of camo.

The other group of forces is the combat Veterans, who have greater access to semi-standardised camo uniforms, ballistic body armor taken from the local military forces or purchased from arms dealers, and they have greater numbers of more modern weapons like the AK74. They have better leadership and training compared to the Militia forces, and some of the Veteran troops have night-vision googles, meaning they are much more effective at night-fighting than the Militia, who have flashlights.

The EFM have been known to purchase ex-Soviet block vehicles such as the BMP, T55/T72 and ZSU-Shilka, but these are rather rare, with the bulk of forces using technicals or commandeered civilian vehicles for long-distance travel. The majority of militia forces speak Serbian, English or Greek, with some of the higher ranks being Army defectors who are providing weapons, body armor and training to the regular militia forces.

Fully compatible with Editor, Zeus and ALiVE (Faction Classname IND_EFM)

Unlike all my other factions, as this was my first faction mod it actually pre-dated the ALiVE Orbat/faction creator and started out as a scripted faction replacement for the AAF faction, to turn them into a European style rebel group that had access to armoured vehicles that CAF Aggressors (this give you an idea of how old they are, pre-dating RHS and CUP's popularity) lacked. They were internal to my unit for ALiVE ops we ran and when ALiVE ORBAT was on dev build I converted the faction from a script into an actual faction mod, my first, with the 2nd being the 75th Ranger Regiment (to use as allies for our unit's campaigns) and they never ended up going public, unlike the later, RHS dependant, version of the EFM that also started as an internal unit faction. I actually forgot I even had this back up until I was going though my factions and found a copy of this from late 2016, so I cleaned up some of the horrible file junk I used to leave in back then, and added MP signing as well as the SFF logo and badges, and it's now available to everyone.

Epirean Free Militia Updated- Cleaned up files, added SFF Logos and badges as well as links, added MP Signing.

FIA Overhauled [CUP Edition] Updated with MP Signing.

CFEFEE6231E58AF3936149508180C6EC9187B5D1

This mod is a total replacement of the Freedom and Independence Army units, bringing them more in line with modern day equipment, weapons and uniforms.
It works in the official Arma 3 Campaign and custom scenarios that use the BLUFOR FIA faction will be using the new faction as well.

Historical Info-

The FIA (Freedom and Independence Army) draws it's origins and name from the 1985 anti-Soviet resistance movement of the same name that fought in the Malden and Everon conflicts.
The modern FIA was established out of civilians and Altis Armed Forces defectors following a coup d'etat in the capital city of Kavala, causing a civil war between the FIA and AAF to break out.

The Faction-

The FIA are armed with the M16A4 and M4 carbines as primary weapons, with the M4A1 used in some roles. The standard support weapons are the M249 SAW, M40and the fighters wear a mix of OD, woodland camo or Multicam mixed in with civilian and geurilla clothing. The MAAWS is also used as a heavy AT asset within some fireteams to supplement the RPG. Their main sidearm is the M1911 but M9's are also used by some soldiers.

Supports-

The FIA is supported primarily by re-purposed and camouflaged civilian vehicles, including technicals with a range of armaments and trucks. They also have access to older Soviet era armour like a BTR-60PB and a MBLT APC.

Faction has full Editor, Zeus and ALiVE support (faction name BLU_G_F ) Also supports ACE3 Medical system.
It totally replaces the BLUFOR FIA faction in editor, Zeus, ALiVE and all scenarios played when the mod is enabled.

SFF Russian Vehicle Pack Updated

20210319093445_1.jpg

20210319093602_1.jpg
-Improved T-55 and BMP-2 gunner reticules
-Improved T-72 handling and performance
-Balancing changes to armour and engines to make them more compatible with CUP Vehicles
-SFF Vehicles are now a separate INDEP Faction in Editor and Zeus. Static Weapons are still under AAF- Statics.

This pack contains all the SFF forces Russian ground vehicles and both soviet and NATO static weapons for a lightweight, no dependency vehicle pack. The vehicles have their own faction under INDEP, while the static weapons can be found under AAF Statics. Faction mods like my SFF Factions also use these vehicles.

Vehicles-

BMP1 and BMP1-P
The BMP went into production with the Soviet Army in 1966. It is an infantry fighting vehicle with troop transport capability and is armed with a 73mm cannon, with coaxial PKT 7.62 machinegun and roof-mounted AT missile. The BMP1-P has an improved missile on top.

Weight- 13.2 tonnes
Crew- 3 + 8 passengers
Weaponry- 73 mm 2A28 Grom cannon, 9M14 Malyutka ATGM
Speed- 65 km/h

BMP2, BMP2 Command Variant, BMP2 Medical variant
The BMP-2 is a different version of the BMP produced in the 1980's which has a new main armament- the 2A42 autocannon, which gives it better firepower against infantry and light targets compared to the BMP-1's light cannon, as well as improved turret elevation and depression. It has a Command and HQ variant, which has no main gun, only a mock-up barrel, and has additional radio equipment and longer range radios inside instead, and a unarmed medical version.

Weight- 14.3 tonnes
Crew- 3 + 7 passengers
Weaponry-30 mm automatic cannon 2A42, 9M113 Konkurs ATGM
Speed- 65 km/h

T-34-85
The T-34-85 served the Soviet army through WW2, but as it became outdated it was sold en-mass to other nations, eventually ending up as a highly outdated, but still effective tank, for use by poor third world armies or militia and terrorist groups, particularly when used as infantry support against forces that lack armour of their own.

Weight- 26.5 tonnes
Crew- 4-5
Weaponry- 85 mm ZiS-S-53 gun
Speed- 53 km/h

T-55
The T-55 after it's adoption in 1947 became the main tank for armoured units of the Soviet Army, armies of the Warsaw Pact countries, and many others. T-54s and T-55s have been involved in many of the world's armed conflicts since the late 20th century, and is now the most produced tank in history. It was eventually replaced by the T-62/T-64 and T-72, but is still in widespread use today.

Weight- 36 tonnes
Crew- 4
Weaponry- D-10T 100 mm rifled gun
Speed- 48 km/h

T-72 and T-72B with ERA heavy armor kit
The T-72 was the most common tank used by the Warsaw Pact from the 1970s to the collapse of the Soviet Union in the 1980's/1990's. It was also exported to other countries, such as Finland, India, Iran, Iraq, Syria and Yugoslavia. It has superior armor and weaponry to the T-55 and T-64 it replaced, and in the 1980's a ERA heavy armor kit was developed to improve it's survivability in combat further. It has a commander's cupola mounted KORD heavy machinegun.

Weight- 41.5 tonnes (44.5 tonnes with ERA heavy armor kit)
Crew- 3
Weaponry- 125 mm 2A46M/2A46M-5 smoothbore gun, Cupola mounted KORD
Speed- 60 km/h

ZSU-23-4 'Shilka'
The ZSU-23-4, nicknamed 'Shilka' is a self-propelled anti-aircraft gun that has 4 23mm aint-aircraft autocannons linked together as it's main armament- it is very effective against infantry, light vehicles and slow or low flying aircraft or helicopters, but it's lack of AA missiles means it has a short effective range. It has been re-purposed as a highly effective anti-infantry vehicle for use in the Afghanistan mountains or in urban combat, which has given it a fearsome reputation.

Weight- 19 tonnes
Crew- 4
Weaponry- 4 × 23 mm 2A7 autocannons
Speed- 50 km/h

Static Weapons-

Heavy Machineguns
KORD, Dshkm, M2 50. Cal
These weapons are all similar 12.7mm or higher anti-infantry or soft vehicle static weapon emplacements.

Grenade Machineguns
ASG-30 Grenade Machinegun, Mk19 GMG
The AGS-30 and Mk19 are both grenade machineguns, devastatingly effective against light vehicles or infantry, but the lower accuracy means it is not effective at longer range but becomes a fantastic weapon at blanketing areas in high-explosives.

TOW Missile, Metis AT
Both of these are wire-guided dedicated Anti-Tank weapons.

Stinger AA missile, Strela 3 AA Missile
Anti-Aircraft light missile launchers on a static mount.

ZU-23-2 Anti-air cannon
This is the towed variant of the 23mm cannon from the 'Shilka'- is has the same devastating firepower but has only small 40 round belts and is not movable. Cheap, easy to operate and still effective, the ZU-23-2 is still used by the Russian Army and by more than 20 other armies.

D-30 Soviet Howitzer, M119 American Howitzer
These are static howitzers/ artillery guns. Currently has a bug with recoil, so I don't recommend using them.

For tanks like the T-72 that have inbuilt fire control systems-
Select Fire Control System weapon and press left mouse button, you should see laser marker in the middle of screen
If target is too close or too far away or FCS is off, beeping will occur when attempting to track a target.

Keys
*Lock Target key (T or Tab by ) - lasing target
*Zeroing Up/Down (Page Up/Down) - manual correction
