a weapons i would suggest maby taking a crack at would be a 

 

1) Boys 55 at rifle

 

2) PZB 39

 

3) And a Piat.

 

4) after thought) you could add the jap knee morter as well you would just need to follow the basis rhs used with the flare hand held system. by making hurt you bad if not prone when fired would allow for a way to have it semi realistic as sayed ideas and suggestions.

 

you may have noticed these are at rifles and luncher that would be down the line but it would be nice for mods that you guys are compatable with like ifa3 or csa 38.

Things I'd like to see:

1) new and active talented modelers join the team

2) talented modelers join the team for creating map assets

3) some good texture artist willing to improve old textures

4) new config guys willing to work on vehicles and port them to A3 standard

5) proper bugs reporting

6) talented voice actors with good mic

7) a Japanese speaker

8) and more to come!

I dunno, if anything it seems like the FG-42 is over represented in most games. It's in pretty much every Call of Duty and Battlefield WW2 game, and pretty much any other WW2 game that was inspired by the previous two, but realistically these things were not a common sight on the battlefield. It's only newer games (it seems like being "more realistic" is a trend nowadays) set during the war that omit it, and rightfully so, but even ones like Day of Infamy (the WW2 counterpart to Insurgency) have it.

 

It's a really cool gun, though - no debate there.

Never played any WW2 CoD and the only Battlefield I've played is the very first one. 

 

Anyway. What I am missing is a WW2 setting in the mediteran-- perfect opportunity to use the FG-42, and due to the nature of A3 there are a truckton of fitting map assets available already.

It looks like Altis or Stratis but with a prop-built town made in the editor.

Yep

Zhivets is spot on 

It was just a few streets built up on Stratis Air base

However i am building a slightly larger one at the moment on @Grassland  4km  x  4km 

( wish it had a river in it though )

trying to make like a scenario where US troops have to push up and take a part of the beach. How do I make the Japanese stay in their positions and defend the area??

There are couple of ways to do it. Easiest is with waypoints but for more advanced things check BI forums for missionmaking tutorials and tips.

what map is this? Im having a real hard time trying to find a good map that fits the western front in arma 3..

Hi. It's the Neaville map from the ArmA 2 I44 mod. I ported it myself.

I can instruct you on how to do it yourself if you PM me. However, the IFA3 team are porting all the I44 maps into their mod in the next update, so you could just wait for that as well.

Not really, can you post a .rpt and tell me exactly which models cause it.

Few details would be useful: does it happen in every map? Any other mods?
