FPS stuck at ~24 FPS

FPS stuck at ~24 FPS

 

my spec is

GTX 660 windforce 2x oc

Phenom II X4 955 be @3.8

Ram 4gb

Window 10 pro

 

almost same FPS at all setting

GPU is running at ~22%

GPU temp is around 46

CPU is around ~60%

CPU temp is around 55

Ram usage is around 3400MB

if i upgrade ram to 8GB will it fix this problem ?

Have you added any additional parameters to the command line to help specify computer specs?

 

ie -maxMex=2047 cupCount=4 etc

Don't do that. Most of the time it's unnecessary and often it will degrade performance and/or stability.

The only one that most of us still use is -noSplash

You are right and wrong.

 

1. -noSplash will not help

2. 'Most of the time', because we don't know what is detected or not by the engine.

On normal circumstances the engine will detect what's available. Unfortunately shit happens so trying these commands may help.

I need help with this too Im stuck at  20 FPS   and Im sure it cant be my pc because my specs are

i7-2600 CPU @3.40GHz

10 GB RAM DDR3

1 GB DDR5 Nvidia GT 740 

Any advice ?

You are right and wrong.

 

1. -noSplash will not help

2. 'Most of the time', because we don't know what is detected or not by the engine.

On normal circumstances the engine will detect what's available. Unfortunately shit happens so trying these commands may help.

-noSplash will not increase performance nor stability but it will save you several seconds of your precious life.

You'll have to explain where I was wrong.
