Massive update!

Four times higher resolution source images for terrain distant textures than originally intended should keep the 4k crowd happy and use up some of those delicious

new ram consumption capabilities of the lovely x64 client.  12km view range in the screens. I'm getting 60fps on average with dips in the 40s.

Outdated arma 2 trees are placeholders.

It's looking really amazing-great work! This map-along with the incredible XCam Taunus are really pushing the boundaries of what I though possible within Arma 3. And as you said-now that the game has gone 64bit, we can actually enjoy these things :D

It really is amazing with 64! I'm getting 60-100 frames on this map with lows being 40-50s on foot in the densest areas. Though this being with maxed view settings + 2560x1080 at 115%

The one thing that hacks me off most in Arma is BI not lighting the interior of structures. Can you imagine the shot of the skyline from across the water if the structures themselves were lite from the interior? Oh well maybe someday. I do, however, wish you all the luck in the world surpassing your work on Suonkomar, that map is simply breath taking.

Looks pretty good, and looks 'homey', looking forward to seeing a playable release sometime to test on!

Thank God you're going to remove the rocks in the snow - I wasn't going to download this map otherwise.

This map will actually be great for a lot of different scenarios-not just those related to it's setting. I can see the snowy peaks doubling nicely as the Hindu Kush in winter time.

Are there fjords there though?
