enableTerrainSynth problem

I have a terrain 2048x2048 . i have an island in the center and all around is sea. depth 25m.

when  enableTerrainSynth = 1;  i get huge spikes northweast at my original borders ,and  some  islets beyond .

 

all my seabed terrain is flat (-25m)

 

is it a Terrain Builder bug ?

is there something i can do to avoid this?

yes turn off terrain synth

If you have an island you shouldn't need it anyway.

enableTerrainSynth = 0

You said it was an island :)

They making the terrain in the area just before the actual terrain end more flat. I think the synth terrain tries to copy the area around it. So possibly flattening it may help.

Although what does an aircraft carrier have to do with the synth terrain? It's a big boat. Or did you mean airport?

i have the carrier moored (static embedded in my island , not on mission)  north west of my island near the original borders and i need the synth to maximize the terrain for the airplanes.... more virtual space for naval operations

 

i have the synth 1 for arma2 version and works without problems... 

Arma3 have problem with synth

Arma 3 has a problem with the synth terrain overall. Sometimes it seems to work sometimes it doesn't. I think it has a issues depending on the values of your island parameters. Tho I don't think anyone knows 100%
