I have been asked multiple times if I could make some animations for some projects. Usually my answer is no, so you have to turn up to someone else.

I've asked few times how much they are willing to pay and how much people usually ask for.

 

Wonder no more, I did a test with a timer.

 

-10 minutes to animate

-5 minutes to export and import

-5 minutes to config and testing

 

Total 20 minutes

You figure out how much that is worth of :)

Hmmm,

 

Interesting, never considered this, so from a little google searching found this https://www.payscale.com/research/US/Job=Animator/Salary

 

USD average hourly rate $48.85 on the high side so call it $50 = $25 as a nice round figure for 1 X weapon animation (to include reload, correct shoulder firing position, correct hand position)?

 

Bnae, does that sound plausible? Just for interests sake.

I would say that is a fair price, depending on the quality. Considering that, if someone is actually good at it and that is the price, I would go with it.

 

I always like to do everything by myself, not everyone have the time to learn to do so, but it's very rewarding when you do.

The fact is that if you can do it by yourself, you know how much it worth of :)

I'm feeling fine, thank you for asking!

I've been too busy for the past month that I haven't had any time for my addon. Worry not, I'm still doing everything that I have promised. Just be patient :)

hello congratulations for the mod is spectacular. I wanted to ask you a favor, can you tell me how to activate the knife and all the animations you created? sorry but I'm not very practical at the editor level

Hey lads, don't know if this has been brought up before, I'm running your mod on my server and my players freaking love it. They have expressed interest in getting a lever action rifle to match the SAA pistol, and a sawed off shotgun to go in the pistol slot. Would that be possible in a future update do you think?

hi guys im so hapy to present you my finiched weapons for my farmland mod with infinite project reloading animations :)

 

a old double barreled shotgun and sawed off

 

and mu custom colt 1851

 

 

 

i working also 3 others weapons ,winchester 1894 and 1887 and trapper flintlock riffle but i d'ont have reloading animations for this last weapons and really need help for working that :)

 

one new and great challenge for animators :)

Hello there to Everyone !

 

I will just add an idea here ,

since we are talking about animations and Bnae is doing great with these ! ,

 

it would be great to have also weapon malfunctions animation like in this video :

 

 

The most of the players wouldn't like their rifle to jam , but Guys , this is the reality !

@Bnae to avoid the following error on game start in RPT:

 2:21:48 Global namespace not passed during: false
 2:21:48 Error in expression <false>
 2:21:48   Error position: <false>

apply the following in "mod.cpp" from:

hidePicture = "false";
hideName = "false";

to:

hidePicture = "0";
hideName = "0";
