Making Players Part of Your Team

I am playing a scenario where I need to make the other players part of my squad....is there a way to select them and add them to my squad? Thanks.

Not unless you use a mod/script or if the group function is enabled in the mission. Press "U" and see if a UI comes up.

Is there a way to just get a medic on one suqad to treat a member of another squad?

Unless you are the teamleader or you use scripts,  not possible.
